I've probably had my second Twitter acct. for a year and I immediately started following the President's acct. I got a few Tweets, then nothing unless they had been re-Tweeted by someone else I followed. They only started showing up in my feed again a month or so ago.

Now the leftists are calling for Twitter to suspend the President's account b/c he had Tweeted out a quote by a minister which called this huge divide in our country a form of civil war. (which it is!) Some Republican congressman - some douche-nozzle Never Trumper - is leading the charge and now he's the new darling of the left.

I don't follow but a few conservative celebs/actors and pundits and a couple of parody/comics so it doesn't take me long to look through my feed...unless I get to reading the comments under re-Tweets, then I'm wading through the BS wishing I had some hip high boots and a gas mask. The site is literally infested with leftist c*ckroaches.

I probably should have taken a screen shot of it, but I see them every day so I will surely get another chance, but I saw a woman decrying the violence that Trump is supposed to foment....then in a reply, she was saying they'll have to kill all the unhinged "Reich Wing" in order to make America great again.

The alternative to twitter has to happen.

Why hasn't anyone done that already. Come on! Imagine how successful the alternative would be? It would be HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it's needed; I know there have been other platforms starting b/c of how many discriminate against conservatives. Just like Texas, though, the leftists will invade those when they grow tired of being in echo chambers.

My friends and younger family members have pretty much told me I was being silly and dramatic for leaving Facebook. Besides the security concerns of having personal information stolen or unwittingly shared by FB friends, I'm not going to support a website that discriminates against those conservatives such as myself. I did sign up for another FB account, but I gave totally fake information, such as my name and birthdate and location and make it a point to stay signed out and delete those specific cookies after signing in. I only signed up again so I can comment on those sites that use the Facebook plugin. I did the same thing w/ Twitter.

It CAN be done, though, but I guess it would take someone with enough money and the conviction to stick with it until it paid off . One good example of that is how many weed growers in legal states were posting "how to" videos on YouTube but now YT is cracking down on them. A few got together and started their own "Weed Tube" and from what little I looked at it, it seems to be taking off and being successful.
