T There is no hate here on this blog. The only hate, is the hate that resides in your mind from all the hate you held towards Bush. But you know what? I don't hate Obama at all, I DISAGREE with his political views and his end game. You think the writing above, of my opinion, is hate? You need to READ the legislation that is being rammed down our throats, comprehend it, and then tell us why I am wrong. The reason some states are rejecting this is because it is only temporary for the FEDERAL involvement, if they accept the MONIES from the FEDS. then (in the future) when it runs out in two years, the STATES will have to continue the TEMPORARY programs PERMANENTLY, that they had no say in.

I know it is real easy for Tenaj to write 1 sentence telling me I'm hateful or post some reprinted baseless article, but to actually think and write a rebuttal as to why I am wrong or hateful, well.................................I'm waitng.

Duh? California has the highest population in the United States. I believe there are approximately 37M (legal) residents. Your state of Maryland has about 5.6M residents.   Florida & Nevada had the 2 highest growth rates in the country over the past decade and, therefore, sold the most mortgages.

I don't have time right now to start posting analytical data, but I agree with Tenaj and believe your dislike for our new President goes way beyond politics. Your posts always sound like you have a personal vendatta, sort of like the teenager whose steady girl was stolen by the popular new quarterback.

The pubs always try to play people stupid. They think that all they have to do is twist facts collectively and it becomes truth. Their aim is at stupid people who don't know their facts are slanted and have an agenda.

That's why they continue to do it even after there is no longer a pub party. That's right. No more Pub party!

Wow, to hear Janet and Justexploring call Jarasan hateful is quite ironic, given their outrageous posting of hit piece after hit piece on President Bush, including the continuous posting of a hate site of the worst magnitude.

I believe that hate-mongering site that Nancy non-stop recommended said that Bush was the "anti-Christ". (As a side note, a non-religious person calling another person an "anti-Christ" is pretty pointless, don't you think?)

Obama certainly has his hands dirty in pushing the current economic recklessness, but Jarasan did not even mention the word "Obama".

If you did not post heaps of anti-Bush rubbish over the past several years then I might consider your comments as possibly well-intentioned. Given your past outrageous remarks, you or Nancy will not be the yardstick I use to determine hateful material.

The economy is certainly something I would expect people to blog about, especially since Obama called it "the worst since the Great Depression", and it is the one topic that every single American is affected by. (Even though he is inaccurate -- it is the worst since Jimmy Carter -- although his Trillion-dollar frisbee golf courses, plus the upcoming tax increases he will ram through may well make it the worst since the Great Depression.)

If you would like to discuss the current state of the economy and how you support the Trillion-dollar spending spree, be my guest. Hopefully you will use some facts in your remarks, as Jarasan and Konane do in their posts, as facts are always a better starting point for fruitful discussions.

It didn't need translation or interpretation. Offend wasn't in the quote and it wasn't all about you. It was my observation about how long Mad has been around and how many satirical drawings of celebrity they've done in jest.

The word offend wasn't in anything I said either. In fact I ignored your comment until Todd brought it up because I didn't need educated on Mad Magazine. It was useless information to me and beside the point.

Tenaj, notice how we're grouped into one. "They, them, those people." The reason I say this is that (whether I agree with you or not) Todd said that you & I called Jarasan hateful, when I didn't use the word hate even once.

The Republicans who are ringing their hands in desperation are now resorting to McCarthy era tactics, that is, labeling people into groups, i.e., if you defend or support someone who is on our hit list, that makes you guilty of the same offense. After all, only a communist would say "Bob isn't a communist."

A few times people on this board have used RINO to describe some politicians who support Obama.    In other words, if you have free thought or free will, you can't be a Republican. When Colin Powell endorsed Obama, it had to be because he wanted a Black man in the White House, not because he felt he was the best candidate. When Scott McClellan endorsed Obama, he suddenly became a traitor. I mean, if he felt Washington needed a change and Obama was the right person to do the job, he couldn't possibly be a loyal Republican.   OTOH even though Joe Lieberman viciously attacked Obama during the campaign, he still asked him to stay in the Democratic Caucus. Yet the Republicans still are upset that the Democrats took over their sandbox.

Now my Governor, Charlie Crist, is getting heat from the Republicans for saying he cares more about helping the people of Florida than playing politics. Suddenly he's the traitor. What this proves to me is that the Republicans are a group of exclusion with myopic views. You either see, hear, think the way we say or we'll take that branding iron and mark you "Traitor" or RINO or as George Bush (W's nephew) called Crist a couple of days ago a "D Light."

JX, I nor anyone else grouped you or T into "they" "them" etc. It is you and Tenaj that group people together, you covet victimhood.

The only thought police is the current federal government helped by mainstream media that wants to eliminate capitalism, responsibilty, free will, and free speech.

I've noticed too that the only thing that have changed about posting political blogs on this site is the clever semantics used to skirt around hatred for the current administration and that it is a different president to hate on.

Rick I agree with you, the real puppet-masters intend us worker drones while they (royalty) bathe in luxury. It's being accomplished by via a pork bloated Stimulus Package that no one knows exactly what it contains .... especially tax payers who're being robbed in broad daylight to pay for it.

Rick can you give us some puppetmaster names?   As far as claiming that debate is somehow dividing the country,   what might be called divisive is the class warfare, and the racial profiling that is still being practiced by the leftists.   You have morons like Bill Maher calling for the public execution of a couple of bankers, and then displaying the dead bodies with their genitals in their mouths on Wall Street, that is my friend is the way the left thinks and works around the world.

Jarasan, not being argumentative but believe some of the puppet masters are going to be revealed when the feds investigate and prosecute those who've used money managers to invest their money in offshore accounts. FBI and IRS are hot on their trails, and believe many and those who profited from those quasi money laundering accounts who believe themselves above any sort of justice are the ones.

Just read an article which said most of the tax evaders seem to be the ones doing the greatest "philanthropic" work as if those charitable 'gifts' excuses them from paying taxes. Makes sense to use monetary clout to manipulate their desires in a given (sinister) direction. Hopefully names coming soon.

Just found the tax loophole offshore account holders were using. Worth watching shows inmates in charge for sure.
