Rush Limbaugh refers to him as Ashley Wilkes.

Wesley Clark and John Kerry are two peas in a pod. People who like one of them will naturally like the other. They represent a small minority of service men and women who understand that they can achieve great popularity and success in the eyes of the media by purposely taking the opposite view of their peers.

I am *disgusted* by Clark's attack on McCain's service record.

McCain is not a guy who was the captain of a small boat, got a scratch, and then demanded a Purple Heart.

McCain *requested* combat duty during the Viet Nam war, was nearly killed saving another pilot during a fire on his aircraft carrier (a nearby bomb exploded, sending fragments into his legs and chest as he pulled the pilot from his plane), was later shot down, captured, and tortured for 5 years, and refused to be released early when his captors found out he was the son of a top admiral. As a result, he can't lift his hands above his shoulders to this day, and walks with a permanent limp.

Unlike Kerry, who disgraced himself by testifying to Congress that American troops were no better than Genghis Khan, McCain *refused* to meet with anti-war groups, and was repeatedly tortured for refusing to speak out against his country.

Note that I haven't even said anything about Obama yet. Naturally, that's because there is absolutely nothing to discuss. Obama is a big fat ZERO as far as military service is concerned. He is an elitist, and a gun-control advocate. Can you imagine that guy walking out in front of our troops and saluting? He represents everything the military is against.

Shame on you Wesley Clark!
