Wealth distribution in the U.S.

If you want a good read on wealth distribution in the United States this will make a good read.

It is a long read so grab a cup of coffee or non alcoholic beverage before hand. Grab alcohol you may be drunk before you are done.Big Grin

You want to look at a graph on the income wealth in this country look at figure 9 at the bottom of the article. Looks to me like 99% of the population in this country works as a production worker or minimum wage worker no matter what political party you belong to.

Looks like we are all in the same boat to me.

If the republicans want to win the pesidency in 2012 election

They better Get their organization together to rally their votes.

The 2012 election could be lost by the republicans just like they did in 2008. Not getting out the vote. I followed the election results map in 08 and I could see where the votes were gotten out by the percentages.

I had a strong indication that this is how Reid won his election. Getting out the voters

The republicans are working against a tough competitor when it comes to getting out the votes.

Reviewing my blog history

After all these years I decided to look thru my blog to see what I wrote and copy and pasted into it.

I started at the oldest page and got to page 60. Around Mar 2006. May do more tomorrow.

I do not understand what I was talking about in more than half of it. Do you? Green laugh

Discovered when I came up with the ascending order code tracking for the pick 3. That started around Jan 2006. Need to go back again maybe tomorrow and refresh my memory on what I was looking at in the stats from the software in that tracking.

Found a chart I was missing in my wordpad that got accidently deleted. Copied and pasted that back into my wordpad. That was the 1,000 str8 chart in the 3.

Who the hell is this guy "I" I am talking about in here. Big Grin

That was awesome ( Rookie wins the 500 )

That is what makes auto racing exciting and unpredictable.

20 year old part time driver Bayne wins it for the famous Wood Bros.

Need to give LaBonte a pat on the back for the power push on last lap he gave Bayne.

What is with this Gov't shutdown talk

Here they have fed budget legislation in the pipeline to be deliberated on and passed or sent back thru the pipeline. This is time sensitive as it needs to be done by Mar 4th I believe. If nothing is passed gov't shuts down except for critical services.

In Dec 2010 they kept both houses in session almost all the way up to Christmas to pass critical legislation. They went past their usual shut down time for Christmas as it was.

Why are they not keeping both houses in session for this budget bill? They are scheduled for their one week presidental recess. (whoope doo) Like it is a major holiday.  All we hear is Reid and Pelosi saying a shut down could happen. It was such a big urgency in Dec. They are acting like it is not a major concern to them this time around.

I know why.

Solving Wisc senate absentee problem

There seems like there would be a senate or state rule or law on the books for this. Seems like a time period would be in there for deliberate absenteeism.

If so the governor should declare the senator as having abandoned his position and directly appoint a replacement.

Simple enough.

More brain food

So what are we going to have now? The Feds stepping in and taking over operation of state functions. Is this an indication the feds may start taking over state operations in any state. Get their foot in the door it expands from there.

An excerpt: bold emphasis mine

Parnell disputed the contention by Jost and others that any refusal by the states to participate in the law is an invitation to the federal government to step in and implement it for them.

Is this the way gov't works

When it comes time to do tough legislation this is what they pull. The state is in a financial crisis and they are needed to deal with it.

They have run out of the peoples money and the Governor is working on remedies.

Legislators are absent to perform their duties.

Food for the brain [ our society yesterday and now ]

This book was written in 1935. Seems like it could have been written today by reading the text.

http://www.lewrockwell.com/orig3/nock1.html

an excerpt.

Thus the State "turns every contingency into a resource" for accumulating power in itself, always at the expense of social power; and with this it develops a habit of acquiescence in the people. New generations appear, each temperamentally adjusted – or as I believe our American glossary now has it, "conditioned" – to new increments of State power, and they tend to take the process of continuous accumulation as quite in order. All the State's institutional voices unite in confirming this tendency; they unite in exhibiting the progressive conversion of social power into State power as something not only quite in order, but even as wholesome and necessary for the public good.

Looks like you can download the complete book. I do not know if there is a charge for it.

Information to read & pass along if you wish

I received this in e-mail & passing it along. Some of you may already know about it and some may not.

_______________________________________________________________________

Subject: Medication Alert

Medication alert, please read! DO NOT DELETE UNTIL YOU'VE READ THIS!

If you would like to check this out - the website to do so is at the end of
the
article.

Hi Everyone I am passing this email forwarded to me this morning. It's about
a medication that is familiar to many of us.

Note also the FDA 's comments at the end of the message. I received this
information from a friend whose mother recently passed away.

Apparently, this was caused by a medication that is deadly.
Here are the details and I suggest you pass it on to your loved ones and
others.

Subject: Phenylpropanolamine (PPA)

I would like to thank those of you who expressed condolences on the recent
passing of my mother. She suffered a hemorrhagic stroke while she was driving
home from my house at 7:30 and passed away at 8:30. My mother's stroke and
passing was an enormous shock to my family because she did not have any
symptoms
or risk factors for a stroke. Just the week before she had gone to her doctor
for a check up and received a clean bill of health. She did, however, develop
a
cold while she was visiting me and had taken Alka-Seltzer Cold Plus for 3
days.

Since her passing, we have learned that Alka-Seltzer is one of the many cold
medicines that contains Phenylpropanolamine (PPA) which can cause hemorrhagic
stokes or cerebral bleeding even with the first use. I am forwarding a list
of
other medications that currently use PPA.

These medicines are supposedly being recalled but my mother just purchased
this
medication less than two weeks ago. Pharmaceutical companies have known about
this danger for years, we unfortunately, did not.

I urge you to review the list of medicines with PPA and avoid these
medications.
All drugs containing PHENYLPROPANOLAMINE are dangerous.

You may want to try calling the 800 number listed on most drug boxes and
inquire
about a REFUND. Please read this CAREFULLY.

Also, please pass this on to everyone you know. STOP TAKING anything
containing
this ingredient.

It has been linked to increased hemorrhagic stroke (bleeding in brain) among
women ages 18-49 in the three days after starting use of medication.

Problems were not found in men, but the FDA recommended that everyone (even
children) seek alternative medicine.

The following medications contain Phenylpropanolamine:

Acutrim Diet Gum Appetite Suppressant
Acutrim Plus Dietary Supplements
Acutrim Maximum Strength Appetite Control
Alka-Seltzer Plus Children's Cold Medicine Effervescent
Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold medicine (cherry or orange)
Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold Medicine Original
Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold & Cough Medicine Effervescent
Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold & Flu Medicine
Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold & Sinus Effervescent
Alka-Seltzer Plus Night-Time Cold Medicine
BC Allergy Sinus Cold Powder
BC Sinus Cold Powder
Comtrex Flu Therapy & Fever Relief
Day & Night Contac 12-Hour Cold Capsules
Contac 12 Hour Caplets
Coricidin D Cold, Flu & Sinus
Dexatrim Caffeine Free
Dexatrim Extended Duration
Dexatrim Gelcaps
Dexatrim Vitamin C/Caffeine Free
Dimetapp Cold & Allergy Chewable Tablets
Dimetapp Cold & Cough Liqui-Gels
Dimetapp DM Cold & Cough Elixir
Dimetapp Elixir
Dimetapp 4 Hour Liquid Gels
Dimetapp 4 Hour Tablets
Dimetapp 12 Hour Extentabs Tablets
Naldecon DX Pediatric Drops
Permathene Mega-16
Robitussin CF
Tavist-D 12 Hour Relief of Sinus & Nasal Congestion
Triaminic DM Cough Relief
Triaminic Expectorant Chest & Head
Triaminic Syrup Cold & amp;am p; Allergy
Triaminic Triaminicol Cold & Cough

I just found out and called the 800#on the container for Triaminic and they
informed me that they are voluntarily recalling the following medicines
because
of a certain ingredient that is causing strokes and seizures in children:

Orange 3D Cold & Allergy Cherry (Pink)
3D Cold & Cough Berry
3D Cough Relief Yellow 3D Expectorant

They are asking you to call them at 800-548-3708 800-548-3708 with the lot
number on the box so they can send you postage for you to send it back to
them,
and they will also issue you a refund. If you know of anyone else with small
children,

PLEASE PASS THIS ON. THIS IS SERIOUS STUFF!

DO PASS ALONG TO ALL ON YOUR MAILING LIST so people are informed. They can
then
pass it along to their families.

To confirm these findings please take time to check the following:

So where is this all leading to?

Gonna give out food rationing cards on what to buy and what quantity per family member at markets?

Put restrictions on what and how much you can consume at a restauraunt?
