Marianne Williamson: 'I Didn't Think the Left Lied like This'

Familiar with her name but never followed her work.  Maybe she should have researched more.

Marianne Williamson: ‘I Didn’t Think the Left Lied like This’

https://www.breitbart.com/2020-election/2019/09/03/marianne-williamson-i-didnt-think-the-left-lied-like-this/

Comments:
"I know this sounds naive. I didnt think the left was so mean. I didnt think the left lied like this, Williamson told the New Yorkers David Remnick in an interview. I thought the right did that. I thought we were better."

Sorry, honey; it doesn't just sound naive, it IS naive, the very definition of it. The problem was that you were willingly naive.

I think she's realizing her campaign doesn't stand a snowball's chance in Hell and is now using the "poor little me" excuse for not gaining any traction. My hope is that some people will take her words to heart and realize the Democrats do NOT have the best interests of the country at heart.

I am "left-of-center" or moderate on quite a few social issues, but I would never vote Democrat. They are the ones who lie and then lie to get out of the trouble they get into for lying, or lie and say they never lied in the first place.   I saw a LONG time ago that the parties were similar in many aspects, esp. in foolishly spending OUR money, beating the drums for perpetual war and both being big govt. statists, but the main difference I noticed was that the Republicans cast out (or vote out) their liars and crooks out of office - the Democrats re-elect theirs, even lionize them.
Thanks Mike. Sadly many new age teachers or practitioners tend to view the world through rose colored glasses while considering politics too nasty to want to examine what the heck is happening. Maybe her eyes were open for the first time and the world she saw was the one we've been seeing for years. 👹 Just my take.
It may take longer for some to realize the left is AFU. At least she put it into light.
The under 30 Socialists will never see the light.
Thanks Jarasan. I'm glad she saw and spoke up. I'm very happy to see the many 'Walk Away' groups. They've realized so hopefully will tell others.
Thanks CARBOB. Yes but bet their kids if they have any will be very conservative since they've had both conservative and liberals to observe. Kids are very smart.
She's being raked over the coals for this Tweet:

"I was born and raised in Texas so Ive seen it. Millions of people today are praying that Dorian turn away from land, and treating those people with mockery or condescension because they believe it could help is part of how the overly secularized Left has lost lots of voters."

I disagree with just about everything she stands for politically, but I'm starting to admire her for standing up to the left. As one wag said "How very Republican of you."   I think it was meant to be snark, but it's true.   It's practically political death these days for a Democrat to admit they're religious.

Sorry for my post up above; I learned a while back to replace every punctuation mark I copied with my own when I paste it in...OR paste it into a Notepad document and then copy it and paste it into a post, gets rid of that funky weird symbol formatting. I just forgot to do it this time.
Weird. It showed up after I first posted it, then again as I was typing in my comment, but not now.
Thanks Mike. I've run into that punctuation issue which looks like you're coding something.

I was told that during the Texas drought several years ago Art Bell asked his audience to meditate on or visualize rain for the drought stricken area. It rained. Perhaps there were prayers to lessen the effect of the hurricane. Bless all the people who took time to do it.
