Selective Outrage

Maybe they thought we'd forget???

Comments:
Doing and saying what they are told, they have no thoughts for themselves.
I am honestly impressed by the left's massive amount of hypocrisy and wonder if they know they're doing it or if it's from short-term memory loss or as you say, it's selective.

I'm even more impressed by the alliteration. I first became aware of alliteration back when I was a young man and thinking I wanted to be a journalist and heard Spiro Agnew use the phrase "nattering nabobs of negativism" - referring to the members of the media with whom he, like Trump, had a very acrimonious relationship. I don't know why, but that alliterative insult struck a chord deep within me.

I refer to the mainstream media as a "pack of pandering, pusillanimous pissants, preaching to the puerile." It doesn't roll off the tongue nearly as well as "nattering nabobs of negativism", but I think it's apt. I'll keep working on it, though, because you never know; Obama got a Nobel Peace Prize for doing absolutely nothing so I might get a Pulitzer Prize for a profound pejorative.
Thanks Sully. They love the fame, the heck with the rest.
Thanks Mike. Could it be that the television served as the babysitter as opposed to meaningful conversation? I've read when a mind is in one of the upper levels of hypnosis such as zoning out watching tv or gazing out the window, the person can be more easily programmed. Said as I adjust my tinfoil hat. 🤪
GD commie hypocrites.
Thanks Jarasan. Yup.
"Could it be that the television served as the babysitter as opposed to meaningful conversation?"

Not for me; we were lucky to get two channels, sometimes just one, to come in clearly enough to watch. I don't remember my folks discussing politics, not between ea. other or any of their friends, but the entire family read. My mom not only had memberships in book-of-the-month clubs, but subscribed to magazines such as Life and Look and Newsweek.

After I got my drivers license, I'd get to school early so I could go to the library & read the newspapers....mostly to see how the Vietnam War was going. I was more than a little worried it would still be going strong by the time I reached draft age. Thankfully it was ending by the time I registered for the draft; my "random sequence number" was #14.
Thanks Mike. Not for me either. Tv broke when I was in elementary school, parents didn't fix it until I graduated high school.

I was more talking about the current crop of leftists. Or were they educated so much they believe they know it all, that no other point of view has a smidge of logic to it?
The Leftist today, can't stand the FACT, that a Businessman could turn this country around while NONE of them could even muster a thought. They are so Jealous they can stand one another. Let them all drown in their own sorrow.

Thanks Maddog. Yes jealous sums it up well. All their dreams of a socialist utopia are going up in smoke. 😁
Nice going MADDOG-

It's akin to mass communist mezzmerization ala Manchurian Candidate.
They are only interested in propagating & pulling the party line & without a care about the nation's welfare with their Johnny One note rehearsed repertoire :-(
Thanks Eddessa. That pretty much sums it up.
