Fundraising by the RNC

This rant pretty well expresses my disgust with Republican inaction, willful neglegence, lip service which has brought us to the crisis we're living through presently.  Other than name there is really no difference in the two main parties.

Posting an excerpt only plus link due to very plain language used to express his disgust, so be warned before you click.

"To The RNC: WAKE UP

I just received one of the famous "fundraising calls" from the RNC.

They were soliciting people to give them money (and tried for slightly over $3k!) to "stop Obama's Health Care plan that will cost $1 trillion."

Oh boy did that poor sap get an earful.

I "explained" that:  .............."

That was most excellent. The original TARP bailout vote was the last straw for me.   The govt is now a rogue govt. A government cannot call itself a democracy if the voters are ignored. The 300 to 1 ratio indicated that nearly all congressional districts in the country had a majority of voters saying NO. They voted it into law anyway and the rest is criminal history. I won't support a non-democratic government. Right now they are not operating under laws of the country's charter. It is an illegal entity making illegal decisions. We are not bound by any law to financially support un-prosecuted, felonious criminals. That's what the people wanted in "change".
Thanks Rick!!! Have never had discretionary funds to support any political party, however thought his take on things was an expression of abandonment many feel right about now. The "change" people got was same-old-same-old on steroids ... only discernible change is we're tumbling down the sides of the abyss they heaved us into.
The only problem with all of this "both parties are bad" stuff is that if the Republicans do not gain some power back, there will be nobody to stop this crap from being rammed through Congress. What good is further destroying the Republican party when the only thing it accomplishes is to make it easier to install socialism?

I'm not a party loyalist just for the sake of being loyal -- while on the other hand I know logically that by ripping on an already weakened party, I further enhance the power of the party in power (the Democrats).   That does not get anyone closer to the goal of getting their country back.
Thanks Todd!!! Understand where you're coming from but I believe they've cut their own throats and people who are intent on preserving the Constitution are likely going to be voting Libertarian next election. There are some good legislators in the Republican party and hope they survive. However, since Reagan I've seen a limp wristed approach to preserving our Constitutional rights and a greater level of inaction as they fill their pockets or drop their pants emulating Democrat behavior. A party can not lead if it's leaders can't do so by personal example.
I think the lost in the woods (lobby) repubs are getting their focus back, the moderates need to de-moderate and come home to conservative constitutionalist thinking, I pray daily for them to grow back.
Thanks Jarasan!! I'm looking for courageous, principled, conservative constitutionalists regardless of party affiliation.
