"Good Fences Make Good Neighbors

Came in email this morning.  Interesting numbers.

"GOOD FENCES MAKE GOOD NEIGHBORS -- AND GOOD POLITICS

A few minutes ago, the U.S. House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a stand-alone border security and fence bill (H.R. 6061).

H.R. 6061 was introduced just this week (as a result of the special hearings) by Homeland Security Committee Chairman Peter King (R-NY).

Probably the most encouraging news in this vote was to see 64 Democrats vote for the fence.

Comments:
The fence is the best, most productive thing the House could possibly vote for with their remaining three weeks before recess. Thank God there are lots of smart people there who pushed for it.

I love all those people who say we don't need a fence. When a terrorist comes across the border and plants a nuclear bomb in their town, I guess they still won't care if there's a fence. These are the same dopes who will complain that "Bush never did anything" if and when a terrorist sneaks over the border and wreaks havok.
Had someone PM me to ask about Middle Eastern uniforms or patches being found along the Mexican border. Something keeps telling me there was something written on World Net Daily about it so terrorists have no doubt already slipped through. Mules will do anything for money.

Open borders is part of NAFTA expansion which is being literally shoved down our throats by isolated elitist in the Council on Foreign Relations and other groups which I've read are closely tied into the Bilderberger group which has real time world money interests .... namely keeping themselves rich at everyone else's expense.

They are entrenched in both parties in government, but seem more so on the Democratic side due to their unwillingness to do anything about our current invasion .... except vote for amnesty ... as evidenced by votes above and other votes on the matter.

Looks like we're going to have to view lawmakers not by party but by conservatives who will act on our behalf and liberals who take the easy way out of everything by acting on the behalf of anyone but the American people.
The terrorist weren't supplied with anything from the Mexican government they had the backing of Iran which we helped to make rich because instead of us finding an alternative supply for the fuel we need we didn't and we have become more dependent and less inventive and this modernization has crippled America. Iran and the Saud's aren't our only probelm but Communist China is moving up quite fast and if we don't get in gear we will be facing a Third World War with the Chinese and this time they may bring the drama to us . Emaphsis should be on social reform (health, hospitals ,education/training).
It is also evident that large conglomerates such as Halleburton,Enron, WorldCom ,ect. can steal billions of dollars; get the best lawyer money can buy. Make restitution by giving pennies on the dollar and go to federal prision ,network , legally change their names with their fat nest eggs they put in Swiss bank account or accounts in the Cayman Islands and after a few years it's business as usual. They haven't actually suffered for the hardship and injustice they caused other people .
THE MEXICAN PEOPLE ARE NO THREAT TO US THEY WOULD LIKE TO EARN A LIVING BUT THOSE INDIVIDUALS THAT WE AS AMERICAN'S HAVE MADE RICH BECAUSE OF THE GOODS AND SERVICES THEY SUPPLY BELIEVE THEY ARE ABOVE THE LAW AND THIS IS AN ATROCITY.
It's true the democratic way of life is the best but how much marlarkey should we buy!!!!!
Every bit of what you post has been covered and refuted ad nauseam in my blog.... all of which is public.

In so far as your last statement ... when any nation is overrun by invaders with no intent of merging ... that culture is lost.

I don't intend to become a statistic of extinction like we're witnessing Europe become, period.
rhow, I don't think the fence has anything to do with the Mexican government supplying anything. It has to do with the unchecked flow of illegal aliens over our southern border, including the fact that we have started to catch Middle Eastern people using our southern border as an entry point. You mention some important things also, like an alternative energy supply, but the beauty of our resourceful country is that we can do mutliple things at once. Doing a fence does not mean the exclusion of something else. If something is not being done then it means it is PURPOSELY not being done, and that has nothing to do with the fence.
