I did correct the mistake but it's not gone through yet. I'm not God I can't control everything lol but I love you anyway you guys are cool despite our political disagreements. I don't want to go on a Warpath it's not my style
There are hundreds and hundreds of those "first time listening to" videos on YouTube. I have watched some of them and have a problem believing they'd never heard of the group or musician's music. None of them had been on a deserted island for 20+ yrs. and I ain't buying "It's a cultural difference", that the black guys had only been exposed to hip hop or rap. Never seen a movie? Sheesh, AC/DC music has been in loads of movies and TV soundtracks, ditto for Queen and Pink Floyd. I don't own any rap or hip hop tunes, but I AM familiar with the artists and some of their songs.
I love the guitar covers of songs, esp. the fingerstyle ones. Several of the guitar players have covered "Wish You Were Here". That's become one of my favorite PF tunes.
It just dawned on me, another phrase to add to my little ditty for when people ask me what type of music I like; it goes like this "ABBA to AC/DC, Bach to Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Creed to Creedence Clearwater Revival", "Clint Black to Black Sabbath", etc. I will now add "Pink to Pink Floyd"! I need to work on that, finish out the alphabet "The Zombies to ZZ Top".
