No show-No pay

If you or I don't show up for work, we don't get paid.

US Congress members make between 174,000 and 233,000 with all kinds of additional benefits.

They live like Kings.

Many are refusing ( Democrats) to show up for work, many are refusing to do their job.

They work for and are paid for by us.

They are refusing to uphold their Oath.

Call and let them know they don't get a free ride, as far as I am concerned, those refusing to work are just abusing tax payer dollars.

Congress, should not be an entitlement program.

Now we're starting to see just who actually are the "obstructionists". That's what the Dems label anyone who doesn't green light whatever bill or provision tacked onto one. Funny how they want compromise when they're outnumbered on something, but when they have the power and can't get something done, suddenly the Republicans are the ones standing in the way of "progress".

There's a meme going around Facebook and other places about Congressional pensions and it has a lot of misinformation in it. Those things hurt the believability of the actual facts. What's often not included in lists of their perks are their free parking privileges at the airport, a gym (which stayed open during the last govt. shutdown), health care subsidies, up to 239 days off ea. year, taxpayer funded flights to and from D.C to their home districts (many of which are thinly disguised campaign trips), a humongous allowance while in office to fund their office and to hire staffers and quite a few others.
