Early indications are world wide temperatures could decline over the next 15 years; with a rapid decrease happening in the next 7.5 years.

Weather patterns may change dramatically and quite possibly for the worse.

There's about a 40 year delay between the two graphed data sets.

The reason for the delay, because the sun doesn't just heat the atmosphere.

It heats the oceans, mountains, rocks, plants, glaciers, lakes, deserts, polar caps... everything.

It's kind of like this and follows thermodynamic laws.

When you put a roast in the oven, it doesn't all heat up right away.

It takes time for the heat to reach the inside.

So, if you put it in for a while and take it out for a while, the center isn't going to be hot until it's been done many times.

After many, many times of this, you can then set the roast out and feel the heat for a good amount of time as the heat now stored inside works its way out.

Same is true for our planet.

The atmosphere isn't just affected by the Sun.

It's also moderated by the oceans, land and everything in between.

When those components warm to sufficient temperatures, the atmosphere has something to keep it warm.

But, now with the solar activity going down, that stored energy isn't being kept up.

Just like the oven being turned off and the roast set out to cool, so to will the air around it.

I tend to agree with you here. What people don't understand is that the earth and sun aren't getting ANY CLOSER to each other at all. For the oceans to be rising, as Romney actually joked about, that water is coming from somewhere for some reason.

Elevated temps are melting the ice in places that normally remain frozen for the most part. What's causing the elevated temps? Do we have less ozone which allows more heat in? If so, why do we now have less ozone? I remember talk of ozone depletion YEARS AGO...and then aerosols were directly targeted. There's a reason for the increased heat...

kind of reminds me of the guy that was building a rocket.

reporter shows up and asks him why he was building it.

he said, "I'm going to be the first person to land on the Sun."

reporter says, "Aren't you worried you'll get burned up?"

guy says, "No. I'm going at night."

Here's one thing that is certain.

We'll find out one way or the other.

You got that right! I'm actually very curious, myself, because this global heating deal has been going on for a while. We have had some strange weather patterns, though....readings never recorded before now.

The libs are about as accurate with this Global Warming as they were when they were doing the same sky-is-falling routine about Global Cooling in the 70's. They couldn't be wrong back then either because all the scientists agreed: The Ice Age Was Coming!

It's all liberal politics.

The earth goes through warming and cooling trends and it's been doing it forever and it will continue doing it forever.

The liberal propaganda of saying it's manmade is just for political reasons to facilitate the task of getting total control of the people of earth - a goal in the heart of every liberal - a nanny world!
Not to mention money - Al Gore has made a fortune off of people who stay up nights worrying about Polar Bears drowning. He's found it to be a very lucrative business.

And did you notice they recently changed the name from "Global Warming" to "Climate Change?"
Yeah, apparently they needed a better catch-all phrase so they could blame all the blizzards and cold spells on it too.

Here's the thing - there IS Climate Change and there's nothing we can do about it or should try to do about it - it's natural.

And here's another thing - liberals are liars, yes, even liberal scientists are liars, they can't help it, it's in their DNA.

Around here we noticed they stopped the chemtrails.

Looks like they are trying to get that temperature back up.

But, they're too late.

Maybe if they weren't spraying the all that while, the effect / outcome would have been different.

I am in possesion of two photographs. One was taken in 1952 and the other in 2012. The photos are of a beach on the island of Oahu and both were snapped from the same spot. (There is a story here which I will put into my blog when the time comes) There is a huge rock jutting out into the water. By looking at the water level around this rock, one can easily see there has not been any rise in the sea level.

So what data do these so-called climate scientists have which tells them the sea is rising? Because I have data to the contrary.
