The dems voted to shut it down. We all know that except you. You like to say the repubs control the house and senate it's their fault it's shut down. Here's how it works on spending bills. In the house there are 435 members 219 R, 213 D and 3 vacant and it needs a simple majority to pass the bill which is 218. In the senate there are 100 members. It is split 53 R's, 45 D's and 2 I's (that caucus with the D's) and they need a 3/5 majority to pass the bill, that is 60 votes. 
If just 7 dems had voted for it, the bill would have passed and the gov't would be open right now but only 2 did. So it's shut down.

I agree, not all journalists are alike.
There are some that just say whatever they are told to say Ie cnn, and others that actually do some digging to get a story.
And there are good journalists and there are poor journalists. You are the latter. Why? Because you keep asking the same questions ad nauseum after they have already been answered several times.

That was you!! The people that were paying attention knew Biden wasn't right at least 2 years before the debate.
