The Postal Service has watched its core business of delivering mail erode as consumers send email and pay bills online. The agency has said it needs to downsize drastically or it will be unable to deliver mail by the end of next summer.
The agency has said it needs to reduce payrolls by about 220,000 and is studying thousands of post offices and about 300 processing facilities for possible closure.

Both Trump and Elon are not taking a paycheck for what they are doing. Are any other politicians willing to do that to serve the country? Nope.

Inflation was 1.4.  When it hit 9.1 2.5 years later he tried to say it was like when he started LOLOLOL The lowest joe got was 2.4 for ONE month. It was still 3.0 when he left. More than double when he started.  He f'ed it up big time.  Stop making excuses for him.
