Pope Francis: Criticizes Trump and Harris Then Voters Must Choose Between The Lesser Of Two Evils

Comments:
* Francis should stay in his lane. There isnt a single scripture of early Christians getting involved in politics, none whatsoever. Francis should take note.
That's a good example of why the first Amendment says, Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.

And Francis should know what his Bible says about obeying government laws.

Romans 13:1-2 says: "Obey the government, for God is the One who has put it there. There is no government anywhere that God has not placed in power. So those who refuse to obey the law of the land are refusing to obey God, and punishment will follow."
Oh you sad little man, think you so clever.
Romans , Paul is writing to Gentile believers in Rome to obey, NOT ROMAN secular /pagan authority , but to obey the God Ordained authority of the synagogue rulers in Rome.

When should Christians NOT submit to authority , when leaders command you to do something that directly goes against God.

Everything they do in Washington DC is against God, Lets start with killing babies, the liars, pedophiles, drunks, thieves and those who worship Satan.
* Francis speaks for those of his faith, not all people. Believe whatever you want, but he is no authority on biblical interpretation to others outside the church. Btw: Revelation speaks of those without faith & liars, etc ending up in the lake of fire. Perhaps your finger pointing should start by looking in the mirror.
* Cherry picking certain verses in scripture & applying it to oneself is a classic case of delusion. Show in scripture where the nation of Israel went to war against enemy nations of theirs and spared the babies. How about the baby that King David impregnated Bath Sheba with- did it live? You knowledge of scripture is shallow.
* Which Christian from the early days of the faith became a politician? Why was Pat Robertson or Huckabee not selected by God to lead America? Why Trump as you folk claim? Was 45 more worthy & what was his credentials: Declaring bankruptcy, cheating people, adultery, lying? Sounds more like a disciple of Satan. What help was Paula White& is 45 even a Catholic? If he is, is that the behavior to be admired by those of the church?
* So whats your response to my questions above Mouth? We know you live on LP so whats your comeback? I would suggest you get better education on scripture.
Another sad and not so clever little man,  1st, yes tell your friend not to cherry pick Bible verses, I gave context, that's all, we wouldn't the gentle readers to think that blindly obeying a Government is a good thing.
Now lets talk about shallow, you have no idea what I know or even about how I feel about the Bible or even a plate of Spaghetti; so shame on you for labeling me.
King David, really who gives a sh*t???? do you own research.
Now as for the Lake of Fire, I have been Baptized and have had Holy Communion , My sins are between me and God. ***** Be very careful speaking for God, you're on dangerous ground buddy.
Your second post something you'll need to come to terms with in your own way, I can't speak for or against any of these people.
Your third post, ( we know) so you have been colluding with others to attack me ?
I would suggest you get better education on scripture and English, it's clearly your second language.
PS, Tell your friend to stop cherry picking scripture. Dumbazz
* You triggered  & it shows. The rest is rest verbal diarrhea.
* Psst: Peter never went to Rome, yet the Vatican is there- hmm.
Psssst. Simon-Peter was the first Pope, in Rome , Nero had him Crucified, Peter insisted on being hung upside down because he thought is was disrespectful to Jesus for being crucified right side up.
It's a fact the First Amendment prohibits Congress from making laws establishing religion. It's also a fact the First Amendment gives religious leaders like Pope Francis the right to say whatever is on his mind about the Presidential election. I suppose Catholics like JD Vance listen intently to what the Pope says. The rest of us can call it an opinion and everyone has opinions.

I was specific when I said Francis as the leader of the Catholic Church should know what his Bible says about obeying government laws. Didn't expect a lecture about which biblical character allegedly wrote the verse I quoted and why. I'm pretty sure if Pope Francis read this blog entry, he would have honestly pointed out Mark 12:17 where during a Q&A was asked "Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?" "And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him."

Don't understand why it's clever to point out facts the facts the First Amendment gives even the Pope an opinion that probably contradicts what is written in his Bible.
"not to cherry pick Bible verses" and "to stop cherry picking scripture".

Is this an example of a version of Trump's "weave" when he repeatedly tells the same lies?

"Ill talk about, like, nine different things that they all come back brilliantly together. And its like friends of mine that are like English professors, they say: Its the most brilliant thing Ive ever seen,
