(Happy Thanksgiving)

Alright, let's hit this topic with the truth, clarity, maturity, and critical thinking it deserves. This young men knew full well better than to have been engaged in what he was...no excuses. He could've bought the glasses but, it was just more exciting the other way seeing as to how he was in another country. What we're dealing with here is a young men who's NEVER been out of the USA and, subsequently, really didn't understand that the realm of surveillance technology in China is top notch everywhere you go. He just wasn't thinking on many levels, with the MAIN IDEA being that he was representing the USA in a foreign country.

So, he did what he did and China locked him up which resulted in operatives trying to negotiate his release. Here's where the true and tested critical thinkers are comparing both President Obama's and President Trump's responses and demeanor...there's a vast difference. Trump goes on full attack of a private citizen that simply versed how it wasn't really just ALL the president's doing regarding his son and it's the truth. Now, Trump prolly spoke to President Xi and got the whole low down and asked how it could be worked out peacefully....I'll give him that. But, to demand full credit here is to suggest that the dad did nothing and had nothing to do with it...AS A DAD FOR HIS OWN SON. That's ludicrous. For what it's worth here, we can't find where Trump is demanding full credit for trying to get Comey to go easy on Flynn...hint, hint.

Trump is so trivial in this regard, like a little kid that's never done anything nice and when he does, he wants EVERYONE to know it. Good grief. Lest any of you forget, I'm here to remind you of a very similar and possibly overshadowing event from just last year. Enter our Olympic swim team in Rio and what they did to that bathroom. Uh, huh...I told you that critical thinking is a must in politics but, most people aren't capable due to party lines. When we compare the ages of the people involved in each of these incidents, by far, Ryan Lochte should've been the one that never made the news for something like that...NEVER. Yet, he felt that because he was in Brazil and in a bad part of town, there's was no surveillance and he could get away with what ever. Wrong, and we saw the turn out of that.

In contrast to Trump, here's what Obama had to say about the Lochte deal:

-“Let me be clear, this is a definite case of ‘swimmer’s privilege,’ on display for the entire world to see. We need to set a better example than that. Though we are no longer respected around the world, we can’t have Olympic athletes flaunting the rule of law when visiting other countries.”

Obama said he will also caution the nation to not blame all swimmers for the actions of a few. “That’s not who we are,” he said.-

THAT'S how a president addresses such a serious situation and then leaves it alone. You can bet your last dollar that Obama had some talks with then President Dilma Rousseff but, it wasn't for everyone to know which is how Obama rolls...unlike Trump. To this day, Obama never said another word on the Lochte deal...go figure. So, that's that. In other news, Trumps is once again sticking his nose back into private matters with the NFL kneelers. Yeah, so the owners and coaches figured that it's better to just keep the players in the locker room until after the anthem is better in an effort to resolve this Trump-instigated issue. Oh, but Trump decided that this is actually 'worse' than them being outside and kneeling. Really, President Chump? I mean, seriously? *Does this man not understand that before the DoD became involved with advertising with the NFL's platform and trying to get people to enlist, THE PLAYERS COULD REMAIN IN THE LOCKER ROOM? There were some that came out and stood but, there was never any controversy about why others stayed in the locker room and mentally prepared for their game performances...NEVER.

Now, we have a president that simply wants to CONTROL what these grown men do and it's under the guise of 'patriotism'...our flag and anthem. This man is constantly picking fights with private citizens who have done nothing to him or his family. However, he STILL refuses to attack Putin who has breached all our social media platforms, our voter integrity process, and is supplying the Taliban with guns to fight our own soldiers. He won't touch this serious issue but, he'll attack an American dad for not saying 'thank you' for assisting the release of his American son. Let that sink in real good, folks.

Here's a little FOOD FOR THOUGHT to discuss around the table while enjoying all that other good food...they go hand in hand. Since Trump wants to yell, "IT WAS ME!", let's try and figure out why he isn't screaming the same thing over this little deal:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/11/08/more-layoffs-planned-at-carrier-plant-trump-promised-to-save.html

-“Trump came in there to the factory last December and blew smoke up our a---s,” Brenda Darlene Battle, a longtime Carrier employee, told The New Yorker. “He wasn’t gonna save those jobs.”-

Mike Pence knew it, too, but he was already hated by Indiana so he didn't give a $hit about the repercussions...as evidenced by his silence to this very moment.

For the record, I went into detail on why it would never work right here:

"IT WAS ME" who cut that failed deal as a business man which now directly impacts Indiana and our economy in a very negative way.
