Speedy, the key words in your commentary are 'half a brain.' Those that only have half a brain only seem able to utilize 1/4 of even that m'fer!! The military spends $84M on erectile dysfunction meds and $41M on Viagra compared to approximately $8.4M on sex change treatment(s). Once again, Trump made this argument about 'cost' while providing no reasonable argument on how these same people are either unfit or unable to sufficiently serve, or better yet, CONTINUE SERVING IN OUR MILITARY as they're already well vested. We have eight-teen year veterans who are transgender, Speedy. Once again, for the dumb@sses out there, we progressives get the whole freakin' argument on folks enlisting simply to capitalize on the benefits. However, that's much a much different debate than whether or not these same people who have already been protecting and serving us are unfit for the military. How in the hell do you retroact their years of service in their transgender capacity? Do we now DENY their duly EARNED BENEFITS as well?

In 1974, the Netherlands became the first country to grant transgender people the right to serve in the armed forces. Since then, a small list of countries have allowed their citizens to serve without any restrictions on sexual orientation or preferred gender. These countries are Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Australia, Canada, Israel, Czech Republic, UK, France, Germany, Estonia, Finland, Belgium, Austria, Spain, Thailand(administrative only), and Bolivia. LL, you and I know that this is not a new phenomenon. As the above countries have stated, they allowed their CITIZENS to serve without any restrictions on sexual orientation or preferred gender. PERIOD

If one listens to the "enlightened" progressives out there in La-La Land on this issue, with CNN at the forefront; they will have you to believe that the vast majority of all active duty US Military service men or women are transgender. Something like 87.4% are transgender. The remaining 12.6% are comprised mostly of androgynous, queergender and pangender. Only 1.3% are the formerly regular binary type boys and girls. To exclude transgender participation would be to severely cripple the US Military. National security would be immediately compromised by manifold, dire and far reaching implications and consequences. We would not be able to respond to the North Korean threat and Kim Jong Un would be free to do with the USA as he pleased. Trump is an idiot for even suggesting that transgender be excluded from military service. He is so dumb that he does not realize that transgender individuals are VITALLY important to the mission of the military services!

But on the other hand, the enlightened 'progreeeessives' do not acknowledge, understand or recognize the fact that gender dysphoria (formerly called gender identity disorder) is classified in the respected psychiatric and diagnostic medical journals as a mental illness with recommendations in place that it be treated accordingly with appropriate anti-depressive or anxiety medications, hormone therapy, counseling, etc. Progressives' approach is to have the afflicted person enlist in the Military where he/she will flourish and all of his/her problems will simply vanish in this Utopian working environment of harmony, acceptance, tolerance and 'incluuusion'.

The main problem of the modern day enlightened progressives is that they are ALL afflicted with the terrifying mental disorder called LIBERALISM. Anything they say or do must be taken in proper context, bearing in mind that one is trying to have a rational discussion with a person suffering from a mental disorder. The fact that it simply cannot be done is axiomatic! Just take a look at Maxiomatic 'Murky Waters'! Humor the afflicted individual for as long as necessary, and then just walk away while giving thanks to Jesus that you're not afflicted by their disease.
