1.5 Terrabyte Seagate Drive Only $150

Hard drive capacity is just amazing at this point, and oh so cheap!

There is a really good price at TigerDirect right now for anyone needing a hard drive upgrade.  (I love Seagate drives, as they have been very reliable for me.)

Here's a link to the product page:

(No, I don't get anything for this, I'm just pointing out a good deal.)

Onnly $150 for a hard drive that most people will never fill up — awesome!

  • That is one huge hard drive! Thanks for showing us this!

  • Heh, I just got a good price on a monitor from these guys.
Now, about that "never fill up" statement, do you remember when you first saw a 2 or 3 GB drive and thinking the same thing?

  • That really is a huge hard drive. From the comments though it seems to have some freezing problems though. I do like the thought of getting one that is a bit smaller...maybe the 500GB or 750GB drive. (plus, it would be a bit cheaper for me.) Question for anyone with experience. Are these easy to install by yourself? Or is it really complicate and it would be better to take it to a computer place to install it? I am not a complete novice to computers, but I would want to screw something up.

  • @TSC: Don't get too concerned about those reports. Seagate makes excellent drives, and the commenters on those computer sales sites are often not very accurate. The best thing to trust is experience. I have also seen lots of incorrect comments in the other direction -- where people say something is great, and it's really not.
