All in all, he touts with a forked tongue.

The Biden campaign released a not-so-festive list of talking points Thursday aimed at helping his supporters navigate “nonsense” political talk around the Thanksgiving table, the same day the 81-year-old president pleaded with Americans to “stop the rancor” over political differences.

The list, which the Biden campaign called, “Your handy guide for responding to crazy MAGA nonsense this Thanksgiving,” was shared on X and included questionable claims about inflation, job creation and former President Donald Trump’s position on a federal abortion ban.

“The economy was better during Trump!” reads the first item on the list, alluding to a possible statement a supporter of the 2024 Republican presidential front-runner might bring up at the dinner table.

To counter that claim, the Biden campaign suggests supporters respond by saying, “Wrong. Inflation is the lowest it’s been in two years, the economy is growing, and unemployment has been under 4% for the longest stretch on record. Just look at your Thanksgiving costs compared to last year – gas prices: cheaper. Turkey: cheaper. Eggs: cheaper. Joe Biden has created nearly 14 million jobs and the economy is on the rise.”

The list included questionable claims about the president’s record on the economy and Trump’s positions on abortion bans.

Under Biden, inflation reached a four-decade high of 9.1% in June 2022.

The latest consumer price index figures show that price increases cooled to 3.2% in October, but still remain higher than any month during the Trump administration.

Likewise, gas prices spiked to a record-high national average of $5.01 per gallon in June 2022 and have since dropped to about $3.27 per gallon as of Thursday, according to AAA, but still remain 88 cents higher than when Biden took office in January 2021.

On food prices, an American Farm Bureau Federation report found the “classic Thanksgiving feast for 10” in 2023 to be priced at $61.17, “a 4.5% decline from historically high prices last year,” with a decrease in turkey prices accounting for most of that price reduction.

But AFBF data also show that Thanksgiving prices have shot up 30% since 2020, with the classic meal priced at $46.90 during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Republican National Committee also pointed out it was “the second-most expensive Thanksgiving in the survey’s 38-year history.”

The Biden campaign’s job creation claim also appears to credit the incumbent for jobs recovered after the unprecedented layoffs that took place during the economic shutdown at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A House Budget Committee report released in June notes that about 72% of all job gains since 2021 were jobs being recovered from the pandemic, not new job creation.

“In fact, when looking at today’s economy compared to pre-pandemic levels, employment is up only by 3.7 million. On the other hand, prior to the pandemic, job creation under President Trump was 6.7 million — 3 million more jobs than the current President,” the report states.

Data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics also indicate that Americans are taking home less money for their work due to inflation.

Inflation-adjusted average hourly earnings were $11.41 per hour  in January 2021 when Biden took office and fell more than 3% to the current rate of $11.05 this October, according to the BLS.

On abortion, Biden’s bullet points claim that “Trump endorsed a federal ban and said there should be punishment for women who have an abortion.”

The former president actually raised the eyebrows of conservatives in September when he blasted his GOP primary opponent, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, for signing a six-week ban on the procedure into state law.

Trump called the move a “terrible mistake” and refused to say whether he would support a federal ban on abortion during an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

He noted that “from a legal standpoint, I think it’s probably better” that abortion restrictions be handled at the state level.

No denying this folks!

May be an image of text that says 'For all the Trump haters out there. What did you hate most: no wars? Middle East peace? Strong American economy? No inflation? Growing 401ks? Market profits? Low gas prices? A secure oil reserve? Lower taxes? A strong dollar?'

Joe Biden is a National Insult!

Former U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman criticized the Biden administration for not exerting enough pressure on Iran, especially as Iran assumes the role of chair of the U.N. Human Rights Council Social Forum.

Friedman highlighted Iran’s human rights abuses, including the recent deaths of two women who were detained for not properly covering their faces.

He also mentioned Iran’s execution of dissenters and its foreign minister’s threatening behavior towards the U.S. and Israel. (Trending: CNN Poll Is Bad News For Biden)

Friedman argued that the U.S. is compromising its national dignity by participating in the Human Rights Council under Iran’s leadership.

Additionally, the text mentions Iran’s senior role at the U.N. Human Rights Council and its recent execution of two men for blasphemy.

It also notes the increase in attacks on U.S. troops in the Middle East and the U.S. airstrikes on Iranian proxies in response.

“Iran is delivering to the United States right now a massive national insult. I mean, we are just without dignity right now when it comes to Iran. I mean, they attacked us 28 times since the war began. Our response was to, you know, send a couple of missiles over empty warehouses coupled with an apology,” Friedman said.

“Their human rights record is atrocious. I mean, these two beautiful young women, because they dared not cover their faces properly, were taken into custody. Mahsa Amini died two days later from her wounds. Armita Garawand, who was in a coma for a month, she unfortunately just succumbed to her wounds. They shoot protesters in the streets. They take dissenters and they execute them publicly.”

“The foreign minister of Iran, we give him safe passage into our country. We protect him. He gets up in front of the United Nations, and he lectures the United States and Israel. He threatens us. And now they’re the head of the Human Rights Council? I mean, this is outrageous.”

“You know, during the Trump administration, I remember the conversation with the president and with Ambassador Haley. We left the Human Rights Council because we could not dignify that entity by being a member of it.”

“Now, the Biden administration chose to come right back in, and they’re going to be sitting there in the Human Rights Council, which is going to be chaired by the Islamic Republic of Iran, one of the worst offenders in the world of human rights.”

“We are being deprived of whatever national dignity we have left by participating in this charade.”

Democrats Scramble To Shield Biden From Embarrassment

Supporters of President Biden in New Hampshire have launched a grassroots write-in effort on his behalf for the state’s first-in-the-nation presidential primary.

The group aims to avoid Biden “suffering an electoral embarrassment.”

This comes after Biden declined to place his name on the primary ballot, as it is out of compliance with the Democratic National Committee’s revised nominating calendar.

The effort aims to educate voters on their ability to write in Biden’s name and has received support from prominent New Hampshire Democrats.

“The fate of our democracy itself hangs in the balance in the 2024 election,” the group’s website warns.

And an email from the group’s leaders highlighted that “more than 100 grassroots leaders and volunteers from across New Hampshire are launching ‘Write-In Biden,’ a statewide effort to encourage New Hampshire voters to commit to writing in Joe Biden during the 2024 NH Presidential Primary this winter.”

The campaign emphasizes that it is independent of Biden’s re-election campaign and the state Democratic Party.

The move by Biden and the DNC to revamp the nominating calendar has raised concerns among Granite Staters and could pose a challenge for the president in 2024.

“None. Absolutely none,” one of the group’s leaders – veteran Democratic strategist Jim Demers – told Fox News. “We have not heard anything from them…. It truly is a citizens grassroots effort.”

“Dean Phillips’ entry into the race has no bearing on this. The write-in effort started organizing weeks ago, before he entered the race,” he emphasized.
