Double Dippers or Thieves?
Well my goodness, seems many Government workers who decided to stay at home and work since Covid, have also decided to get other jobs, but here's the thing. They are still collecting Government Paychecks, AKA our tax dollars.
Sleepy joe signed and EO saying these people could not be fired until 2029.
Seems sleepy did not have all the facts.
So, DOGE is cross referencing SS numbers with Government workers with other full time jobs.
They may also insist on Drug testing, hahahaha

I really don't know or understand how they get away with it, on the 1099's there is the employer id and the ss #, should send flags up immediately.

I have waited a long time for these current events to occur.
They still have to pay taxes on the other income regardless. My neighbor works three jobs and pays alot of taxes. If I win big I get a check from commission and a tax form and I have to give it to my tax preparer. I'll be doing this in two weeks.
They didn't report the income from the "2nd job". They laundered it, or claimed it as something other than income. Maybe write it off as whatever, or call it a nontaxable gift. Then again as the saying goes, "I know a guy..."

Okay, got clarification, they were collecting a Government check while working in the private sector, and no Ben, you cannot claim 40 hours of work if you're working somewhere else.
They were in fact stealing from US.
There is not a problem working two jobs. There is a problem when being paid for both jobs in the same time period when each job requires your physical presence.
I make it easy, if I punch in at Taco Bell, leave and sneak over to Taco Bob's and punch in to work, doesn't it seem like I'm cheating Taco Bell?

If you punch in at Taco Bell, then punch in at Taco Bob's, then disappear for 8 hours, then come back and punch out at Taco Bell, then punch out at Taco Bob's, then you can get paid twice as much for doing nothing. Just like some gov't workers do.
You just need a good excuse when someone asks where you were.
The main issue is the double dippers are getting paid working for the federal govt. but aren't actually putting in more than a couple of hours of actual work.... work 2hrs get paid for 80Hrs. I think they are bi weekly. Then they work the second gig for what ever and boom, BANK THE SUPPLEMENTAL INCOME. They deserve termination and minimum, payback what they received while working the 2nd. job. Like I wrote before, the fed. ATH (at the house) neighbor worker was doing their own thing all day long. PS they worked for HUD, so it was a money burn in all scenarios.

If you work in a government office you have to report to work and stay in the building. I've never heard of all this sneaking out. Are the supervisors sleeping??
Omg Ben, they have been working from home since 2020 and only a few returned to an actual building.
We are also paying for empty buildings.
Apparently at least one likes taking bubble baths while "working" from home.
Several have already gone back to work. A long time ago. Baloney Sully.

Ben, Mexico already gave into Trump, plus they will send 10 thousand troops to their border to stop the flow.
As for Canada, they receive 87 % of their toilet paper from us, Trump could really leave them stranded on the throne, LOL
