Kevin McCarthy ousted

https://www.forbes.com/sites/saradorn/2023/10/03/mccarthy-ousted-first-house-speaker-ever-booted-from-the-job/

I'm not so sure this is a good thing. They'll just replace him with someone who will do their bidding without question. A Maga right wing extreme nazi

In the last 100 years there were four times when either a vote to remove the House Speaker or the Speaker resigned and each time it was Republican. All the Democrats voted to remove probably when McCarthy was caught lying about them on Face the Nation last Sunday.

The question of the day is who will replace him. Will it be a moderate or will a MAGA or another far right Republican slither they way into the job?

* Kevin " chameleon " Mccarthy brought this on

himself. The guy has been speaking through both

sides of his mouth for far to long & it doesn't

take a rocket scientist to know that he was going

to touch the 3rd rail sooner rather than later.

* The Dems returned the favor by putting him to

the sword for saying one thing & doing another.

He spoke out against Trump after the Jan 6th

insurrection, then boarded a flight to FL to kiss

Trump's ring & ask for forgiveness. Next thing

you know his opening up an " Impeachment

inquiry " & Jeffries probably said, no cover for

you this time crawler.

Just another example of the Republican party trying to convince the poorly educated MAGA Kool-Aid drinkers to blame the Democrats. The facts are not one Democrat voted for McCarthy to become Speaker so why would they vote to keep him Speaker when a Republican called to vacate?

The question now is who will the Republicans elect to run their clown show. Will it take another 15 rounds of voting or more? And speaking of clowns, Trump said he would "make an excellent Speaker".

* Now l see that the Republicans or should l say Maga Republicans are " blaming the Democrats" for not standing with Kevin. Where were the Republicans that should have stood with kevin, so him losing his position is the Dems fault?  They took out their frustration by kicking Nancy and Hoyer out of their offices and they need to move elsewhere. Typical petty behavior from so called grown a** men.
