If the wall was built there would be no need for that many troops.

It is a stunt. There is no need for troops. Trump has never served in the military. He has no idea of the hardship that it brings on a family when a family member is deployed. There are more than enough ICE agents and National guard troops already there. What purpose does it serve to waste millions of dollars of tax payer's money on such a ludicrous idea coming from Trump. U. S. Soldiers are trained to fight wars against ours enemies, not refugees from another country. They cannot arrest or shot anyone on American soil, and they won't. The Generals are highly upset with order, because they see it as frivolous and obtuse.

Maybe Trump should have sent the Coast Guard to the southern border then. Maybe Trump should expand the number of Coast Guard troops. They have a federal regulatory agency mission as part of its mission set. Plus they are part of Homeland Security.

For the past five years over 5 million people have immigrated legally to USA. These large groups of people are carrying foreign flags, being financed by evil leftists, and thing they have rights to come to the USA. They must be stopped at all costs and detained and sent back, it is to send a message not a stunt.

When President Obama was in office, he sent National Guard troops to assist Mexico in 2010...not Active Duty. Obama didn't say to treat rocks thrown as rifles and the additional troops was to combat criminals while deterring migrants to the right channels for possible entry to the U.S. No one on the left is funding any single migrant mass movement to this country otherwise there'd be documented proof by now via Soros' finances. This is a fact and even our own military knows better than to believe that Soros would illegally fund migrants to attempt breaching our borders...illegally. What is wrong with these people on the right? Does nothing make any common sense to them at all? I mean, the entire world now knows that Soros and the other (15) near victims had nothing to do with sending bombs to themselves.

So now, they've trickled down to migrants being sent by Soros. Really? Did Soros, who's a Democrat, also send those migrants on Obama's watch forcing Obama to spend money on sending the NG to the border? How dumb does that sound? Then, this whole thing isn't an 'invasion.' An invasion is what we did with Iraq and other countries, folks. No one knew or saw us coming until we were right there on them...all in their kitchens! Man, the whole world has been quietly watching this ever slow moving mass of migrants that isn't trying to hide anything at all. Lots of them have no shoes let alone weapons! These people are so big and so bad...so threatening that they have the president deploying more troops to the border than we have in Iraq and Afghanistan where there are guns, bombs, and terrorists!! Let that $hit sink in real good. We tax payers are fronting the money to support a bogus political ploy based on a TRUE FALSE FLAG OPERATION AND FEAR.

Folks, this whole thing that Trump is doing is pure fear mongering BS!!! It's a weak attempt to make himself appear so strong and on the job ahead of the mid'terms where he's near surely gonna lose the house and have his @ss handed to him in the coming months along with other weak Republicans. There's a d@mned good reason why no one is bucking the military's assessment on this but, they'll go on air and buck Shepard Smith for accurately calling it for what it is like the military has. I'll be so glad if we can reign all this BS back into some order after the mid-terms because it's gotten way out of hand.

The news media has these huge migrant caravans marching towards the southern border with intentions of entering this country.
Caravans of this size is an invasion force. They could over run border patrol agents causing harm and or death to our border patrol agents.
Trump is being prepared for the worst case scenario.
