Speedy, those fake news outlets have fully accomplished their mission(s). They put stuff out that's fake and unverifiable, even the Republicans cannot and will not comment on such news. They know better. But, they know they can depend on their base to carry the falsehoods back to the mound much like worker ants do. I collect information from all reasonably reputable sites, Liberal and Conservative, and find it toxic to simply ignore any and all Conservative reporting because they do slide in the truth in the middle of their rants when you least expect it. It's this portion that most of the people here ignore 'cause they don't want to hear it coming from their own sources.

Liberal outlets, while not simply making up things, will at times leave out pertinent information needed to make a fair judgement on a development which is still not good. In the end, people take what they want from something and run with it so they can feel safe but, it's no different than standing in the rain underneath an umbrella with holes in it. We know why Iran worked with Obama, and, why Putin abhors both Obama and Hillary. When has any of our presidents ever embraced Russia and wanted to befriend Russia? Hell, back in the day, Reagan made a joke about attacking Russia which made it to the press and then to Russia resulting in EVERYONE getting into their 'launch sequence.' It was serious. Now, it seems that because Trump says Russia's okay, they posed no threat to us...until Putin made it clear that he's gonna ramp up his arsenal. Then came the tweet about us expanding ours but, it wasn't really Trump's call. Obama had already said we're gonna bump up our arsenal...Trump was simply REACTIVE as usual and piggy-backing off Obama. I'm not even gonna get into the lies about the Hillary-Iran deal. All the Republicans and the CFUIS know the facts by know.

History repeats itself, Speedy, and I've went back and looked at many of the remarks made here when Bush was leaving office and the state of the economy then. NONE of the people here had anything good to say about it, and, were actually worried. But, they were consistent with hating Obama though all he was doing at the time was stopping the hemorrhaging...they said the Democrats drank the Kool-Aid when it was Republican policy killing the economy. It never ends.
