Poll: Clinton tougher than Obama

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2014/03/16/cnn-poll-whos-tougher-clinton-or-obama/?hpt=hp_t3

Comments:
To me anyone with any experience in Government, besides being a community organizer would be tougher than Obama, even Hillary.
Jeezsus that's like comparing pee wee herman and hello kitty for toughness.
Hillary Clinton , could not take care of her own home. I do not believe she be any better in the white house. The Republican Party needs a better       Representative then Hillary.......I think Monica
Hillary didn't commit adultery, her husband did. The American people and God forgave Bill, why can't you? If you don't forgive him, you won't be forgiven.
Work on him, Speedy...that's what I'm talkin' about! Hillary did exactly what she was supposed to and forgave her husband. I'm sure they had issues to work out and it was a test, but they 'allowed' it to work itself out and moved forward. They didn't take the easy way out. For the most, I do believe that Hillary would've called different shots in specific areas than Obama did.

Personally, I like the way Kennedy was sitting down rubbin' his balls when he made that phone call about the Cuban Missile Crisis. Then, he rolled up his sleeves, himself up a nice fattie, and told the boys to go ahead and dock 'cause we're about to rock!
I am not sure what it is that people are scared of in having a possible Clinton in office again, was it the prosperity or was it the surplus instead of national debt that Clinton left the state of this country in when he left office? i don't favor any one political party over the other, just individual politicians based on what they do regardless of their party affiliation and these are just the facts when her husband ran this country for 8yrs....then W came into office and look at the mess he left behind for the next president. There have been shabby presidents from both the democrat and republican party, but Clinton's presidency is what it is regardless. Will Hillary be able to run this country with the same success, that is yet to be determined and we shall see if she runs and is elected.
We did not have a surplus under Clinton, The OMB projected a surplus, it never happened!
The down fall of this country happened because of Clinton, it just happened when Bush was in office.
I enjoyed the stock market during the Clinton years, but looking back, I see the damage the free for all caused.
Clinton opened the doors for people with low income to have houses and credit cards, of course it's the dream to have these things, but not if you can't afford them, and most certainly at someone elses expense.
Mortgage and credit card companies, went full steam ahead on fraud and devious business practices.
Vote for Hillary, oh! Hell no!
She left 4 men to die in Benghazi, She has members of the Muslim brotherhood on her staff, I have no desire to pay even more taxes, be spied on, have my Constitutional rights chipped away at, be targeted because of my religion.
And whoever says they will wipe that stupid ass obamacare of the face of the earth will get my vote.
You want health insurance, then go f***ing buy some, not okay to tax me to subsidize someone else's health benefits.
Whew, sully you go lady....!
That's the difference between Hillary and Sarah. Sarah hasn't left anyone behind to be killed...!
Candlelight, don't be discouraged with some of the feedback that you will get from the flaming trolls. They disagree with anyone that doesn't think like them, or that is not repub or tea party. Let it go in one ear and out the other. You have a right to your opinion.
Oh my..shakes head. oooookay

Guess it was ok that W led us into a war that should have never happened that slaughter and killed how many of our people and innocent lives all for a war that should have never happened and he did so based on lies of WMD that never existed..... did we forget about that and the debt it burdened this country with and still does to this day. Shakes head. I know save your breath because i gonna hear as well that WMD did exist somebody lied about that too.... ooookay shakes head.

Obamacare, now wait isn't it republicans crying on this matter about how people can't afford it? But i thought if folks can't afford food they shouldn't get food assistance..isn't that the republican way? they should get 10 jobs if needed to support themselves and be responsible for themselves...but they shouldn't be accountable and responsible if they make a certain amount of income that demonstrates they can afford to pay for health insurance? oh let me guess save your breath again...obama is expecting people to pay astronomical premiums and deductibles and lying about it being affordable....shakes head.

Oh and it was your fat cat republican wallstreet and banker pals that republicans are in bed with ($$$$) that handed out all those bad loans and credit cards and almost sunk this country and caused a bailed out at taxpayers expense...i know save your breath again...it was democrats who promoted and encouraged those republican fat cats to take advantage of people and it has been proven time and time again that is exactly what they did...this is why they are now under lock and key and regulated and will stay that way given.
I think everybody should lose the cable, cell, sat. tv, electric water, gas bills and car payments to pay for their barry care healthcare premiums, of course, because you won't go to jail for not paying those bills,   they'll just cut you off.   but most of those going on barry care have all that sh1t subsidized any way right??? Oh yeah you don't need food, but .............if you get them food stamps you're good to go

Now back to the original "who's tougher"??? I think it is more like comparing Peter Pan and Tinkerbell or comparing Barney Fife and Thelma Lou for toughness.
Uh oh, I think the Treasury Department needs to be visited for the proper numbers on a few things here...for sure. I mean, really. Then, we have people wanting to prop up anyone that vows to 'repeal every single aspect of Obamacare' which is the only thing every single candidate is running on. Well, that and absolutely no immigration reform...although they all use these workers for extremely cheap but DEPENDABLE LABOR which they don't PAY TAXES for and PAY UNDER THE TABLE.

Then, when election time arrives like now, they all slam the same people that are helping them and vow to kick 'em out while not agreeing to help 'em in any way. Sure, we have a border problem. But, if we can go to Iraq and Afghanistan spending all the money we did providing safety and resources for THOSE PEOPLE, then surely we should be able to PROTECT OUR OWN BORDERS right around the corner. No, somebody wanted to go and spend our money elsewhere on people that couldn't even get here while having a desire to, though.

Obamacare...this is the holy grail of their argument but something had to be done about the middle man. All the excessive and severe price hikes on all things medical was pathetic. Charging $12 for a .10 band-aid is ridiculous. There was no real competition among healthcare providers except all the big boys...that's it. They had the market, dictated to doctors and hospitals, and the others had to go along with it and take what they could get making no money. Policies were providing minimal coverage per dollar on any given plan and I have six old plans as proof of this compared to my current plan.

Yeah, it costs a bit more but, it also covers more and is 'user friendly'. When people go out to eat and the menu prices have went up on the same thing they ordered before, they have no control of that. They can either order something else, something similar, or go to another place where the same thing is offered at a lower price. Same applies to groceries...it's all about fair competition on a products and the consumer has control. I don't hear people complaining about BEING FORCED TO PURCHASE INSURANCE FOR THEIR VEHICLES or fined for it. Gnaw on this for a minute or two.
Shake you f***ing head all you want Candlelight, the fact you went right to WMD, tells me your as left as it gets.
Are you talking about the WMD that are now in Syria, the ones they got form Saddam ? Or were you absent the day the US figured out where Assad got them?
I had 2 nephews serve in Iraq, screw you, we did not want them there, but after 9-11, anyone dumb enough to threaten us, got what they deserved, Saddam bragged he had them, we took the bait and now he's dead, Good riddance!
Now that we know your on the left, Obamacare affordable? Bull s**t! Most People are signing up for medicare, not health coverage, there's a difference.
Millions lost their health coverage and the odumdumcare is more expensive. Million more will lose coverage in November.
Did you completely ignore the fact that's it's not okay for the government to force people to buy something they don't want, and penalize them if they don't, That's the country you want to live in?
You support odummy telling people to get rid of cable and cell phones so they can have health coverage, then must be on board for the welfare bunch getting rid of cell phones, cable, Lincoln Navigators, hair salon, nail salons, casino's etc...so the lazy piles of s**t can feed their kids.
Here's a thought, if you can't feed children or provide for them, then don't have them,..To me the cruelest pile if s**t is the a*****es who keep bringing kids into this world that are poverty stricken from day one, that's not on me, that's on the mothers of these children.
Oh, your other on the left talking point, fat kat bankers, Wall Street, you mean the one in New York that's full of Liberals? When your not educating yourself with sound bytes, go do some research on the who's who of Corporate America, guess what, most are run by Liberals, ABC, DISNEY, GE, MICROSOFT, NBC, The list is endless.

Now back to the good ole Clinton days, the economy grew out of control, people where buying and selling, stocks, houses, land, the prices rose to high to fast, mean while back at the fed, they were lowering interest rates so everyone could get loans and credit cards, This is when Mortgage and Credit card companies started their devious backhand dealings.
That's not either a Republican or Demorat thing, that was a greed thing.
Ya know what Candle, I think you're a plant, Many of my friends and family lost their healthcare coverage, and no obacare is not more affordable, especially those with pre existing, I have heard the stories first hand. the rates are higher, only those with low income can afford it, as they are being subsidized by tax payers. Not okay to take more of my money to pay for some one else,,,Period!
Oh and Lucky, no one is forcing anyone to buy a car, if you want a car, and you run the risk of killing someone with said vehicle, then yes, get insurance.
Bid f***ing difference then forcing healthcare with penalties down someone's throat!
So who is tougher ? barry or hilly? It is like comparing Neville Chamberlin and Jane Fonda, Jane of course was barbarella and hilly was the wicked witch of the north. The old trolls and new trolls just can't stay on topic because they can't win on substance, they gotta obfuscate, distort, and misdirect.
Sully, you dont' have to agree with me that is fine and i don't have to agree with you and that is ok as well...stop making it personal. This is a discussion about politics, you don't have to go and get all nasty with me by cursing at me. I thought we were respectfully disagreeing, but all i got in return was trash talk and whatever you did say beyond that got over shadowed by it unfortunately. Guess it's best to just let it go because now i am a plant and i have already seen how you pull this with everyone who disagrees with you or you think is a democrat...nah i will pass on the worthless mud slinging crazy babble and groundless attacks. This isn't a discussion, this is overzealous paranoid behavior towards dems...which i am not nor am i conservative.

Back to the discussion, I think Hillary is tougher if I had to chose.
There is a Big difference between having to purchase something that is required of you rather than have someone tell you , that you will get this like it or not. But of course there are people who don't think like that, they just go along and bitch to someone else about what is good for you or try to rationalize another approach to the same backstabbing atrocities.
Candlelight, while I respect your opinion, and I'm not going to try and change it either. I would like to know, if one of the Benghazi (4) was your son, would you still feel the same about Hillary saying what difference "would it make" to you as a parent, while being questioned about the cover up?
Yeh luckyloser, nobody takes issue with mandatory car insurance and they don't have to buy a car true, but they have no control or choice over health events that will occur. This is why premiums are so high and medical cost is so high. The uninsured leave hospitals with large bills they can't pay when they have a heart attack or get in a accident so medical cost go up to make up for all those unpaid services caused by the uninsured...in turn premiums go up because the insurance company is having to pay for higher medical bills. It's irresponsible and the cost gets pushed over to those who are responsible all because people think it's ok to not take care of their own responsibilities such as having health insurance. How i feel about it has been made clear in a few recent blogs.
Maddog10, I am not saying what happened there was right from what we know so far...at least what I know...but there have been a lot of wrongs done from both parties and this is not a isolated incident. I am no more a fan of dems then I am of conservs but there is no party that is 100% clean and to throw stones as if it's only happened in the dem party is just unreasonable. It doesn't make it ok though.
Just to add...there was alot issues raised when W was in power about troops getting hurt or killed because they were not properly armed and under funded...are their lives any less important then those lives lost in bengazi..see this is my point. There is wrong to go around.
I'm sorry Candle, with your head shaking and sarcasm, I mistook that for aggression, but since you've decided on passive/aggressive belittlement, We'll call this a friendly debate.
First our troops, we not properly armed, and that was on congress, it just happened to be a democratic congress.
I watched my neighbor strip the siding off his house in -2 degree weather, he took it to the scrap yard to get cash, to help pay bills, he lost his health insurance and his daughter is a special needs child, his wife, like me, is only allowed to work 28 hours at her workplace, or go find another part time job, not easy when you have 4 kids. these cuts are 100 percent because of dummycare.
I would e-mail him this great debate, but like so many people I know, they no longer have cable or internet, or cell phones, and they both work.
In the mean time, at my work, some crack head or gambling addict, is buying red bull with food stamps, so they can sell the red bull for cash...
I feel bad for people who work their tails off and are now paying the high cost of electing this clown.
I know odummy promised to make the rich pay their fair share, but it's the middle class that's getting hammered. The rich will get richer and he'll be one of them.

Sully, the way obamacare was set up towards business was indeed bad planning and handled poorly. I can't believe they didn't see the problems it would create on that end. From what i understand though, business requirements have been delayed if i understood correctly or certain aspects of it. Hopefully they can make some changes during that time regarding business, but then again we are talking about politicians where common sense does not exist. Thing is though, that family should qualify for medicaid especially with the expansion and if they don't they will all but get their full premium subsidized given their financial situation. There daughter though will qualify for CHIP, the children's insurance with no premium so she will never go without insurance and really neither will they, but how their jobs have been effected, gotta love our bright politicians and i hate to hear that. I agree it's the middle class that is getting hammered and all i keep saying is who is looking out for the middle class? dems take care of the poor, repubs take care of the rich, but who is looking out for the middle class and small businesses
Now here is the kicker and this is why i take issues with democrats. They do not take into account your assets, financial state and subsidizing way too much. I did qualify for a very small subsidy when i should not have. My income this year course changed with my husband passing last year, but i bring in over $4000 a month right now. I have savings accounts, 401ks, other investment accounts and now on top of that i have a huge life insurance policy to add to it plus his employer policy that guarantees me $500 a month for as long as i live that me and my husband always had in place. I have no bills, house paid off, car paid off no credit cards no debt. I did qualify for a very small subsidy and they wanted to qualify my two teens with CHIP. Well i wasn't having that and given they qualified for it they could not go on my market place plan, i went and got them private insurance and wow expensive but i am not putting the girls on medicaid no way no how because in this house we don't do that when we certainly don't need it. I would be taking away from others kids like the one you spoke of...not right. I had to go and look into all of this just to understand how in the world they qualified for CHIP.....so folks out there complaining they can't afford it baffles me.
Okay, these are some very good arguments. It's about time we're able to discuss the issues with reasonable maturity and sans the name calling. There are problems within the healthcare industry and you're paying for basically a 'what-if' scenario. Let's take vehicles, which I didn't say that anyone is forced to purchase a vehicle, Sullie....it was the insurance to cover one, okay. No sarcasm here or anything like that. Just pay more attention to what I'm saying. At at rate, we're forced to purchase that just like healthcare now.

A given person knows that they're a pretty good driver but, they cannot account for the next person. Then, we have those that purchase policies directly relevant to the type of vehicle they drive...and the agencies also regulate what you can and cannot get away with. New vehicles require full coverage and you and towing etc. Older vehicles need only to have liability for the most part but, you can opt full coverage. What neither the driver nor the agency can account for is when either type of vehicle, or driver, will be involved in an accident. So, we have the 'just-in-case' factor here which is best for everyone involved. Correct?

Well, how much different is coverage for one's health? No one knows when they'll encounter sickness or being hurt. How much more important is it to 'cover' your body and mind than that car, truck, or especially a motorcycle? I'm as healthy as a horse but, I can't know if something's gonna happen to me which requires some serious coverage at some point. In one week, I'm actually changing jobs and going from parts production/manufacturing and distribution to medical supplies and distribution. There's a substantial increase in my pay involved, a new challenge for the most part, and the policy structure is unbelievable.

I can opt out of company coverage providing that I show proof that I have other qualified coverage...and I'll GET PAID FOR DOING SO over a period of (12) months. Even so, should I decide to partake in one of the company provided policies and I'm screened for wellness per their schedule, I'll still get paid monthly for it and remaining healthy. Not trying to plug anything but, it's directly related to the AHA...they told me so. Being healthy pays off and it reflects in one's policy structure so long as you're screened.

There are many incentives within this Act if people will only open their eyes and minds. I know what the real problem is...they just don't want Obama behind any of it. If it was any (R) elected person, they'd be praising him/her and talking about how much the president cares about the American People. You can bank on that one. Sullie, not to be funny but, just because there are people in this world having to do what they have to do for money doesn't mean it was due to Obama, okay. Lots of folks in this world make really bad decisions that you don't know about. I know, I know..."you (D)'s made a bad decision by electing that maniac to the white house!!!" Sweetie, I've heard it all. But, in the end, there's a happy medium if you're talking to the right people who voted opposite of you.

There's no all bad or all good with any president we've had in our history but, Obama is taking the blunt of it while doing nothing any different than priors...this is fact. Anyone that thinks this man doesn't care about the people is on pure crack infused with embalming fluid. He may go about things in more interesting ways but, he doesn't hate anyone by any means. As far as the rich paying more taxes and helping the middle class, he went on record agreeing to take a 5% pay cut in 'doing his part' and returning it. NO OTHER PRESIDENT HAS DONE THIS...GOOGLE IT AND SEE FOR YOURSELF.

You (R)'s really need to get a grip and realize that your opposition may actually be helping you though it may not be instantly or feel good at present. Bush wasn't the best nor the worse but he did some good things that helped most people in the midst of his own bad calls. I talk about about the Iraq war but, I also took my ass over there as a contractor and to Kuwait to make money in order to better my finances. It was sacrifice and opportunity that didn't bother me as I'm ex-military anyway. Many, many others did the same and I helped others get contract jobs. Nobody wants to take your guns, and you're free to do whatever you want...start a business, marry who you want to, etc. Those are rights. What you should be pissed about is when your employer forces you to take on more responsibility for the same pay and tells you they have a drawer full of applicants if you don't like it. What you should be pissed about is those two judges that were getting hefty kick backs for wrongly jailing kids for literally nothing...to the tune of over $2M. Check out Kids For Cas$. Be pissed that foreigners are quicker to get loans for business than we are...and their credit from another country isn't disputed. You people better wake up and recognize the real conspiracy.
Candlelight, I am very sorry for your loss, and I know it's not easy to go through such a sad ordeal.
Many of the poor. are so, by their own doing, but to watch people become poor because of big government, I do have issue with that. Many business owners cannot hire, I work with these people on a day to day basis. This myth that Republicans only care about the rich , is just that a myth, cutting taxes on small business is not giving daddy fat kat more money, it allows them to hire more people.
It gives them more working capital to expand business. thus they spend more on goods and services that help other business.
To me the dems, are quite simply buying the poor, buying votes.
If they want to help the poor, they should help with job creation, not throw chips, cookies and pop their way. I see how the poor spend their welfare dollars, To me, it's not okay to tax me more, so I can take care of those who make bad choices, don't do well in school, or quite simply have found an easy way.
We live in a country where we are treated like cattle at the airport. got to keep us safe and at the same time they let anyone run across our borders. wth?

"First our troops, we not properly armed, and that was on congress, it just happened to be a democratic congress"
************************************
Sully, our commander in chief was a republican president in power at the time with a republican controlled house and a democratic controlled senate. We lost men and woman and many severely injured because they were sent out on the battlefield not properly armed and underfunded to do so. Yet you pin this on the democrats and don't see any wrong on the republicans part in this while you crucify a democrat for bengazi.

I am not saying either is right, it's just the double standard being applied here.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but when you have others saying they know what another person feels about someone, that's BS, and they know it.
You come on a blog and preach and paraphrase what others will think or do as if it's their destiny to tell other people how to think their way.
If you're going to comment by all means do so, just don't be so obstinate in thinking you know it all , because that's the farthest thing from the truth you could ever imagine.
Forming an opinion without solidifying the substance, is merely just opening your mouth and going through the motion. In that case it becomes just like a lot of others, everybody's got one.
Sully, your response just popped up so I am alittle late responding given. Thank you for your kind thoughts and hey, I understand a lot of what your saying and agree that there is too much enabling going on in this country. Not everyone is abusing the system though either, there are some people out there who have truly had a turn of bad events that put them there and some who have fallen prey to health problems as well. This is why it really bothers me that people take away from those truly in need by abusing the system because they don't need it. I think we should support businesses, but I won't go as far as you do in thinking they have our best interest at heart because most of them are greedy and abuse what they get already. When their success doesn't trickle down to the employees who helped make that success...yeah this happens way too often and this country enables and rewards them as well when they don't deserve it. But oh well, it's a give and take and good and bad with anything. But people in this country have got to look at things with a clearer open mind and not be so confined to political parties ideology in my opinion because they are all corrupt and none of them have our interest either in mind. Just my opinion, I am sure others well feel differently.
Maddog are you talking to me?
No, I'm not talking about you candlelight. I know all well that people form their own opinions and their entitled to it. I'm talking about someone who thinks they know how other people feel and think. You aren't the recipient..!
Any random person picked out of the phone book would be tougher than Obama.
Obama is a pussy.
Let's not pretend that we all don't know that already.
Comparing barry and hilly is like comparing justin biebert and milie cyrus for toughness or it could be the tooth fairy and thumbelina.
As long as greed exists, no party will prevail in the long run. In fact, as I'm sure most of you know this already, that every empire in the past has collapsed. And in each of those cases, greed and power was the main reason for their demise.

This whole mess started when the first few dessert/jungle/ dwelling humans had more assets than the general public even though they didn't work harder for it. The majority had to either overthrow that rich group or just deal with it.

Looks like nothing has changed since then. With the exception of a few revolts in history, and especially in this day and age of humans being spoiled by entertainment, tech gadgets and so on, less and less humans care less, as long as they get to watch "Dancing with the stars".

The rich greedy politicians and their cohorts, I.E. Corporations, could give a rat's ass about you and me. They create distractions on a regular basis as to not allow the average person to think too much about important things for any given amount of time. To just sit back in a quiet room and reflect or meditate about everything for 15 minutes.

If you had a very large machine that could blow away the clouds away over N.Y. State, different clouds would return because the air over N.Y. state has a low pressure system on top of it. It'll just draw more moisture in from any water source surrounding it. Basically what I'm saying is that it serves no purpose shuffling around politicians, as long as the nasty, greedy, depressing, evil air floating above the system sticks around, nothing will change.

We're all infected with some mischief running through our veins, but when the powerful, evil elite are in control of EVERYTHING, and act out on their decisions affecting everyone, it becomes a problem.
