It doesn't matter how smart, strong or brave a Republican Woman or Minority Candidate on the Right is when the haters of the Left rally their hordes of stupid people and arm them with sound-byte mantras like "she can see Russia from her house!" (which she never said).

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups. The Democrats, wisely for them, have harnessed that power (much to the detriment of the Republic and freedom itself).

Sarah Palin was not betrayed, she was unprepared for the office that she was seeking. She was a loose cannon that did not want to accept advice. She gave a lot of comedians fodder every time she opened her mouth. Betrayed no, she was a maverick and her own worst enemy.
