actually,at one time the basic law degree was an llb,but the lawyers said physicians are called drs so why not us.the llb changed to the llm master of legal matters,then to lld doctorate of legal letters,then to jd ,juris doctorate.hard for you to follow but remember Obama won the nobel prize,did you forget that too.
