Mandate Not the Only Health Tax Republicans Backed

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-07-04/mandate-not-the-only-health-tax-republicans-backed.html

Comments:
Republican President and Patron Saint of ALL Conservatives and Republicans Ronald Wilson Reagan(666) holds the record for largest tax increase in history when he signed The Social Security Reform Act in 1983 raising the income level on what All Americans paid FICA on which ever since has increased tremendously to where it is now at almost $107,000,a level that the vast majority of Americans NEVER reach while those making over that amount, the rich, pay no more.
There has always been a max limit on social security. When I first started working and for about 20 years I use to reach the max before the year was out. But it gradually increased to where I did not reach max limit. I paid max limit for many years but collect in return far below the max benefit.
same here jap.
Point Made!
JAP69 and scorpio paid all year long because they NEVER reached the max income level that FICA was paid on while someone making just 214k only paid FICA 1/2 of the year.
A person making 1 million a year only paid FICA a little over 1/10 of the year.
Easy fix to any social security or MEDICARE shortfall is to raise the income level to 250k where FICA stops being deducted.
I don't like millionaires collecting ss,or medicare,but they say they've earned it.
If they earned it they should collect it like everyone else that pays into it.
But they also, like most people in America, should pay into it all year long.
Uh-oh, there's sand in the vaseline, booby and dorkio are at each other's throats!
thanks crazy rdgnr!
Unlike Repugnantcans and Conservatives Liberals AND Democrats ARE ALLOWED to disagree with each other.
Heh,heh,heh,heh,.........................!
Bobbya seems to forget that Reagan carried 49 of the 50 states to win his reelection. Apparently the whole country held him in high regard. It's only the extreme hard leftists (like Bobbya) who don't recognize what makes a great president.

Also, hard leftists like Bobbya are always crying about the need for compromise in Washington, but fail to realize that all the negative things that came out of Reagan's presidency (even though the negatives were quite minimal) were compromises he was forced to make with the democrat congress he was saddled with.
Stick to running Lottery Post Todd!

Reagan's policies and the 12 more years after him of Republican Presidents and the Law Making Body of Congress over the last 30+ years controlled by Republicans.
Bush the younger had his 1st six years of a Republican Congress when most of the damage to the country was done.
In today's Republican and Conservative world Reagan would be a flaming Liberal after raising taxes 11 times in 8 years to 1 tax cut.
Todd must think that Reagan had his arm twisted by the Democrats when he signed ALL those tax hikes and spending bills that he approved of that led to his presidency tripling the national debt from what it took all presidents before him to accrue.
Bush the younger blew a 900 billion surplus with a Republican Congress in charge and then doubled the national debt from 5 trillion to more than 10.
Republican Presidents and Congress' are responsible for 70% of the current national debt and 90% of ALL Recessions and Great Depression 1 and today's Great Depression 2.
That's the historical truth.
Too bad the intellectually lazy and Ignorant don't like THE TRUTH!
Reagan carried 49 of 50 states simply because the Democrats had a weak candidate in Walter Mondale. Not because Reagan was so great.
Most of Reagan's and Republican and Conservative policy and ideology have shown their disasterous effect on the well being of America and its people over the last 30+ years.
I agree with you Bobbya , you are always right on point!
