M:I 3 is a great action flick

I saw Mission: Impossible 3 yesterday, and I must say, it's a great action movie.  I have no idea why there are a bunch of critics out there saying it's a bad movie, because it isn't.

M:I 3 is just like the last 2 M:I movies -- you really need to see them more than once to totally understand all the twists and turns.  After you're finished watching, you sort of understand what just happened, but the characters' motivations change so many times in the last third of the movie that it really requires a second or third viewing to totally "get it".

I think many people get caught up in Tom Cruise's wacky behavior, so they don't like his movies as a result.  Personally, I think his movies are almost always terrific, and I think he's a good actor.

If you like action movies, see M:I 3, and be sure to see it in a good theater that has a good sound system.  It rocks.

  • i was thinking the same things you were.seems like a few people got a beef with him for putting down brooke shields because she took medicine for depression and they got into a feud there because he put her down for taking the meds.i too read where the critics have panned this movie.sometimes the critics just don't get it.i like a lot of tom cruise older stuff like risky business, top gun, days of thunder, etc.

  • I'm no Top, but Tom did it to himself. I had a roomate in Queens Ny who was totally into Scientology. She left them saying they were evil people. She really believed she could see John Travolta through the windshield while driving her yellow cab. He was supposedly throwing lightning bolts and electrical charges her way.

The critics look for those types of ill behavior like Oprah's. One major belief in Scientology is what's called the Satans. Not like the Satan as we know it. Rather parasitic creatures unseen that need to be rid of. These so called "Satans" derived, supposedly from a race that lived on this planet 75 million years ago. This race killed alot of human kind with nuclear type devices. So, the outcome was these parasites were subsequently ubiquitous, and need to be rid of.

If you think I made this up? Do a goggle...

The only criticism I've heard, because of the lack of free time recently, was that he was over-acting so to speak. Not his natural form.
I haven't seen it, but look forward to.
