  • Backing up your fact based cartoon ...

"Gen. Giap: Kerry's Group Helped Hanoi Defeat U.S.
The North Vietnamese general in charge of the military campaign that finally drove the U.S. out of South Vietnam in 1975 credited a group led by Democratic presidential front-runner John Kerry with helping him achieve victory.

In his 1985 memoir about the war, Gen. Vo Nguyen Giap wrote that if it weren't for organizations like Kerry's Vietnam Veterans Against the War, Hanoi would have surrendered to the U.S. - according to Fox News Channel war historian Oliver North.

"The Vietnam Veterans Against the War encouraged people to desert, encouraged people to mutiny - some used what they wrote to justify fragging officers," noted the former Marine lieutenant colonel, who earned two purple hearts in Vietnam.
"John Kerry has blood of American soldiers on his hands," North said."

  • What burns me up is that the majority of the Kerry supporters are either too old to care anymore or too young to give a da%n about what happened in Vietnam. My brother fought in Vietnam for 18 months and I remember clearly how he was ridiculled as a baby killer after Kerry made that speach in 71. My brother wasn't drafted. He volenteered right out of High School. Wanted to do something good for his country just to have a four month Vet with supposably 3 bandaid purple hearts tear him and his comrads to the ground. In 1980 I did the same thing. Joined the Army in the 1980 right out of High School, fought in Desert Storm under the Bush Sr. Administation. Then comes the Clinton Admin. tearing us down and weakening the strenght and values of the military, even threw in a "no ask,no tell" policy. I have family members who are now in the Military who have expressed that they will exit, like many others , if Kerry is elected. Who wants to serve for the "Anti-Christ" ??? Not I.

  • todd, this is the best yet! thats the attire kerry should have been wearing when he got up on the podium after coming back.he was a flipper then, as he is now. he votes then he retracts. i often wonder, if the enemy had been bobbing in the water, would he have given them his life jacket? this is definately a black eye for each and everyone of us, who had served in vietnam!!!!!!!
