Gore is Pathetic

I just saw Al Gore on the news screaming about how GWB was directly responsible for the prisoner "abuse" thing.  (Actually it is more of a "hazing" thing in my opinion.)  Gore has sunk to new lows, although I didn't think it was possible.  His speech could easily be used as an al Queda rally speech (or by any anti-American group for that matter).

Every time I see this junk on TV, as upsetting as it is, I just keep saying to myself that regular Americans see right past it, and in their hearts know the truth.

Gore has gone from a relative moderate Senator from Tennessee to a fringe radical in the span of five years.  The guy is completely unhinged.

I just gotta believe that Americans can see this wacko for what he has become.

  • I listen to Rush in the afternoon while at work and he has all these anti bush people pegged right.

  • There was a lot of Howard Dean in that speech. Could you ever believe these two men ever came so close to being a President of the United States of America? As far as Al's comment about GWB being the most dishonest President since Richard Nixon. That is like calling Saddam Hussein a great champion of human rights. Hello Al, who did you serve under as VP for eight years? Seems to me you should have been referring to Bill Clinton when you were making such a stupid comment.

  • whodeani, you are correct. And speaking of Saddam Hussein, did you see yesterday that Hans Blix said that Iraqis were actually better off under Saddam Hussein than under their current conditions?? He said they had better "stability and peace".

He's referring to the regime under which we discovered the rape rooms, torture rooms, mass graves, child torture, summary executions, amputated limbs, extinctions of an entire town through a gas attack, and I could go on.

He's comparing that to the country that now has freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of the press, freedom to pursue whatever you wish to do, and soon the ability to vote in the first-ever large-scale democratic elections in the Middle-East.

This is the guy (Blix) who conducted the "unbiased" weapons inspections and made recommendations to the U.N. He is an outright America-hater whose true colors have been exposed.

Thank God for the Internet. We would never have an outlet for utter truth without it. We would still be brainwashed by what a few TV executives would have us believe on the nightly news.

  • No Todd I didn't hear about Hans Blix and his comment but doesn't surprise me at all. He shares the same philosphy of appeasement of tyrants that allowed Adolf Hitler run all over Europe in the 30s and 40s. No surprise at all.

  • Gwb will never be the president that Clinton was, And Al Gore won the election by the people, had quite a few more popular votes than Bush, I always was a Republican until the last election. So dishonest that I changed. The only good thing GWB has done was go into Iraq and get rid of Hussain.

  • Saleo Paleo,

That was spoken like someone who listens to everything the media has to says -- and believes it. Don't you understand that the liberal media is doing everything in their power to get rid of our President, and you are the one who is suffering from a lack of truth?

BTW, Al Gore lost the election. In our country we use an electoral college system, and the popular vote does not decide the election.

Did you know that in both 1992 and 1996 Clinton did not win greater than 50% of the vote? The media certainly doesn't want to remind you that its darling candidate couldn't get a plurality of the population, because that would detract from their constant berating of our President.

Did you notice that the media didn't make more than a tiny whisper when EIGHT recounts performed by the media themselves proved that George Bush won the Florida vote? Can you imagine what their reaction would be if their recount indicated that Gore won? DON'T YOU GET IT?

George Bush has done a lot more good than freeing Iraqis, and you should seek alternative news sources to understand that.
