* The weird thing is *** is running for President again because he claims he is the Greatest President in US history, and his supporters believe him.
The MAGA Kool-Aid drinking weirdos would vote for Trump even if he "shot and killed someone on Fifth Avenue". They even "know for a fact" the 2020 election was stolen because Fox News said so. Hopefully someday the old rank and file Republicans will finally say "enough is enough", but sadly it will be way too late to save the Party.
Ulisses Grant was arrested for racing his horse in D.C. after being warned and agreed not to do it again. Grant paid a fine and the arrest wasn't controversial in 1872.
There were a couple Vice Presidents having legal problems. Spiro Agnew resigned after pleading guilty to felony tax evasion and Aaron Burr was charged with treason but acquitted.
