Republicans want to raise the age of SS benefits to age 70
Thankfully, Rick Scott has changed his mind about sunsetting SS and medicare, due to the backlash he got, but they still want to raise the age of SS benefits to 70.

Thankfully, Rick Scott has changed his mind about sunsetting SS and medicare, due to the backlash he got, but they still want to raise the age of SS benefits to 70.

* It's the idea that if you claim SS at 70- you don't have very much longer to live.
* You only live long if you in the Senate or Congress, if you not, you die sooner. Gloria MacKenzie was fortunate, at least she won a jackpot in her 80's.
* Think Grassley, Mitch, Biden, Strom.
Reagan wasn't the first President to "borrow" from SS but he was the first not replace some of what they borrowed. Scott and Pense probably wanted people to work until 75 and still cut their benefits.
