It will help catch them for sure. But I don't get why when someone does something bad or breaks the law, that persons first impulse is always to record themselves doing it on their phone and post it for everyone to see. Stupidity I guess.
Ankle monitors don't stop anyone from doing something they shouldn't be. Especially when they know there aren't going to be any consequences. Just ask the under age juvies.
Thanks Grwurston. Posting on social media seems like a middle finger to establishment, that they can do whatever they please with impunity. Maybe growing up they're not taught critical thinking to consider consequences for taking certain actions. Cultivated cultural myopia.
Yes I know ankle monitors don't prevent action but do provide an iron clan trace.
