Navy SEAL Who Was Mocked on 'Saturday Night Live' Wins Election in Resounding Fashion

I find it reprehensible, coarse and classless when someone chooses to make fun of an individual who has scars from an injury or disability. Such was the case recently on SNL. Dead

Sweet revenge, congratulations Congressman elect Dan Crenshaw!  Party

Congrats Dan and thank you for your service.
Thanks Sully. Amen. He's not from my state but after reading that a couple of days ago I was hoping he'd win.
Congrats all round-

Stand up for yourself and what you believe in, individual voices matter, it matters much, even if it means standing alone!

I can't remember the last time I watched Saturday Night Live...hell, I can't even remember the last time it was actually funny.
Thanks Eddessa. I'm so glad he was elected, especially after that.
Thanks Mike. I could never figure out what anyone thought it was funny on SNL. Ever in the entire history of it.
I was channel surfing one Sat. night when I stopped on SNL. It wasn't long after the OJ trial and a woman was waiting on her babysitter and the doorbell rang and it was OJ come to babysit. I don't remember who the guest host that night was, just that the skit gave me a few LOL moments. I tuned in the next week, hoping to find more edgy humor, but it bored me to tears.

Even a blind sow can find an acorn every now 'n then, I guess.

I thought the original bunch- Ackroyd, Murry, Curtin, et. al. - were pretty funny. It was pretty edgy humor for the time, nothing had been on TV quite like it prior to that. Granted, some of it was silly, but it was much better then than it morphed into, esp. with their politically progressive pusillanimous proselytizing in front of a like-minded NYC audience.
Vets day this year is on Sunday! Thank you Veterans!
Thanks Mike. Like your very last sentence, I don't need social engineering re-education nor political brainwashing so rarely turn the tv on.
Thanks Jarasan. Yes thank you Veterans for keeping us free.
Congrats to Dan. The young SNL doofus needs to go hide, what a disgrace he is.
Thanks Lejardin. It's sad he thinks ill manners equals comedy.
