"Our federal government does not have the authority to force us to buy anything.

Dear Neighbors,

Tonight, in the last hour, politics trumped the people and the House passed the Senate bill by a vote of xxx-xxx.  As promised, I voted NO.

Over the last year, our country has been more engaged in our government than ever before and because of that we remain united to fight another day.  While tonight was a devastating assault on our constitutional rights, it is far from over.  Lawsuits will be filed in every courthouse in America.  I have spoken to Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott and he has the full support, and vigorous encouragement, of the Republican members of Congress to take immediate action on the state level.

As a former judge, I have an appreciation for the laws in our country.  The government takeover of healthcare is unconstitutional.  Our federal government does not have the authority to force us to buy anything.  That's not allowed under any stretch of the law or imagination.

This power grab is not about health, and it's certainly not about care. It's about liberty. It's about federal government control over people's lives. The federal government has no right to dictate to the people their healthcare needs or any other goods or services they deem necessary.

Over 70 percent of the American people are against this bill.  I will continue to fight along side of the people against government intrusion and champion real reform that fixes what is broken and  improves the greatest healthcare system in the world.  No one argues that we need reform, but this bill was not the answer.  It was never about reform – it was always about government control.

Rest assured tonight, this is not over.  Let me leave you with these words:

“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

Let them all drown in their gloating. The DEMS have all but sealed their coffins. He thinks he has made history, huh ? . Well he has, the perfect symbol of the jack-ass for the past 7 decades.
There all already about seven states that have exempted themselves from a federal health insurance mandate. I'm sure about twenty more will be soon to follow suit. Good. We have to establish states rights to control this giga-monster we fondly call gubmint.
It ain't over by a long shot! They will start collecting taxes for it though, before it's deemed unconstitutional, they are going to hire 16,000 more IRS agents to make sure you are well under control buying and maintaining mandated health care, let's see.......... more taxes...........more IRS agents.............= hope and change.............now how do you feel?........ you morons that voted in this fascist, .........oh I forgot they don't work..... so they won't pay taxes..... just free healthcare........WRONG!, ...... you will pay because you will be forced into the proletariat and WORK WORK WORK for the statists, fools the fascist worshippers are.........
They make us buy insurance.

The argument of being forced to buy *automobile insurance* with Obamacare being no different is totally wrong.

Owning and operating a vehicle is an OPTION ... not a requirement so only owners-operators are required to purchase auto insurance. Auto insurance requirements are set by states not the federal government.
State is also government. It's the law. Are you saying the federal government would be against forcing insurance? They are just a higher branch of the state law.

And no one has a problem complying with those laws.....hmmmmm......

But the real reason I replied was that you said the government couldn't force you to do anything. And I said...yes.....the state forces you to buy it. State is government.


Thanks Joker! Owning and operating a vehicle is a matter of CHOICE, where the safety of others is priority. There is a chance that an accident can take place and if another person is hurt or their property damaged AUTOMOBILE insurance has a means of making them whole again or compensating them.

Obamacare gives choices ... to pay for it.... or be fined or go to jail. That is NOT a choice.

Comparing automobile insurance to Obamacare is like comparing oranges to rocks ....... no basis for comparison.

I'm just saying that you're forced to buy insurance, when you buy a car. I know it's a choice to buy a car, but once you buy a car, you no longer have a choice on whether to buy insurance or not. You HAVE to buy it. That's all I'm saying.

Read Karl Denninger's article I just posted to find out where the money is going and it is NOT about health care. It's an act of desperation using whatever measures to seize money by any means whether legal or illegal.

Those new IRS agents will be armed! 17 new taxes! Perhaps ppl will opt out on April 15th and keep their money as they should. Perhaps states will keep their money too! There is a 4 day National strike April 15 to 18. Check it out!
