Marketplace Fairness Act Bill -Text

http://www.marketplacefairness.org/bill-text/

excerpt:

To restore States' sovereign rights to enforce State and local sales and use tax laws, and for other purposes.

Comments:
Well I read it looking for a motive for the feds to get involved with state sales tax collection.
" To restore states soverign rights........."
When was their soverign right taken away?

"certified software provider"
What the hell is that? I see something where an online retailer is to use it.

Something fishy here for the feds to get involved with state sales tax collection and I do not know what.

This getting into interstate commerce here?

I do not see the reason for the feds to get involved here. They are assisting the states to collect sales tax. The feds are the ones intruding on a states soverign right as I see it.

Is this opening the door for Obamacare single payer to be sold over the internet into states that oppose it?
Marketplace fairness act?????????
An obscure meaning in the title here?
Marketplace fairness HMMMMMMMM
Marketplace fairness act?????????

I went out and grabbed a chew of tobacco to think about this.
Does this give a president a piece of legislation the authority to expand on it by executive order, executive action or presidential memorandum?

We know someone who is good at issuing such things.
"and for other purposes"

Brrruuuuuuhahahahahahaahhahahahahaahhaha
This is so stupid. The stores around here don't stock what I need so I have to order it by mail or internet. When I do that I have to pay shipping. Shipping is more than the sales tax would be *IF* I could buy the stuff here. Now they want to tack the Michigan 6% sales tax on top of that! This makes real good sense because now I will have less money to buy food, gas and the things I can buy locally.

Yay, a payroll tax hike AND a sales tax hike all within a year!
O Boy!

They say they want to do it to "level the playing field"...well it will level the playing field the same way a Fat Man or Little Boy would level areas of Japan.
The Democrats always name their bills the opposite of what they will accomplish.
So when they call it the "Marketplace FAIRNESS Act" Bill, get ready to bend over and grab your ankles.
Cuz you're about to get screwed.
