I saw parts of Cuomo's speech today.

What an act.

I thought this "You don't need assault weapons and big clips to hunt deer" thing was just Democrat stupidity about the 2nd Amendment.

But now I see it's part of the Democrat agenda to try to trick the American people into thinking the 2nd Amendment is about the right to hunt. Because they're all saying it. They're all talking about what you need to hunt. Typical slippery Democrats.

The 2nd Amendment was written to make sure we could defend ourselves against any tyranny that arose in the future. Because the founders of this country had come from countries with tyrannical rulers and did not want tyranny to take root here.

One absolutely necessary thing for tyranny to triumph is to disarm the people. Hitler did it, Stalin did it, Mao did it, Pol Pot did it.

And they started incrementally with the registration of all guns so they knew where they were.

Then, they came and got 'em.


God help us if the good people don't prevail in the midterm elections in 2014.

I go anywhere I want to without a gun...My gun is used to protect my home. I have been doing a good job of protecting myself for decades...why would I be fearful now?
