We are still good friends and play the lottery together at the same store. When they take their uniform off, sometimes their gun, they are regular people that laugh and tell jokes. I pray to GOD that I never become the individuals that you all are.

While I understand a police officer's need to protect themselves, they can't go around shooting law abiding citizens. Maybe if we all worked a bit harder at crime prevention (starts at home), treating the mentally ill, and enforcing the laws that are on the books, we would not have such a crime problem. Chicago has the most restrictive gun laws in the country and do you see where that has gotten them? Honest citizens are disarmed while criminals are shooting people at the highest rate in the country. Yeah, that works. Let's get more gun laws. Make the criminals register their guns. That'll work too. Chicago is a model city, starting with their restrictive gun laws and ending with suppression of job creating businesses because they don't agree politically with business owners. Right.
