No, you can make people appear to say anything you want if you know what you're doing with today's technology. And mediamatters is VERY unreliable. And the founder is a documented nutjob.
Although it could be true (and really, who cares?), coming from mediamatters just puts a cloud of doubt over that prospect because nobody really takes mediamatters seriously.
So we'll just have to put this story in the "extremely doubtful" bin.

David Brock,founder of Media matters was a raging Conservative Republican that saw the light and came over to the good guys side.
He's the lefts Matt Drudge with the difference being He Posts verifiable Truth while Drudge Posts verifiable LIES!

He WISHES he was on a par with Drudge.
