Mit said at a graduation speech the American dream isn't owning your own home it's getting your kids out of your home. They all say stupid stuff.

@four4me, that's not stupid, it's true. My stepson is now 50 years old, has lived with his mom and I since he was 22.

Some parents would love to have their children stay with them, while others might not. Farming family's usually depend on their off spring to take over the farm and do the duties.

At the present time college grads more than likely won't get employed right out of school nor are they able to take care of themselves financially.

See sooner or later unless we old folk die suddenly were either gonna need elder care or end up living with a sibling. So since the parent's home is near paid off or completely paid off wouldn't it make sense for children to live at home building a retirement nest egg or college fund for the children's children.

For such a hot shot business man his comment was stupid. It was a joke like most of what he says.

@four4me, Forgot to mention, he's an alcoholic since 18, been thru rehab 5 or 6 times, paid by me. Gets $1200 a month in disability, free cell phone. All paid for by tax payers. In all his life, he never made $1200 a month. He's as useless as tits on a boar hog. You think, he will inherit anything from me??
