Pondering this....I remember The 1960's nostalgia in 1980. I don't remember any radio stations playing music from the 1940's (2016->1980->1944).

It all seems so unreal to me. In news today, Ryan O'Neal and Ali McGraw are at Harvard for a "Love Story" reunion. 45 years. , it seems like that corny movie was something I was avoiding only 30 years ago. :)
