'Twas the night before.
An inspirational poem........
'Twas the night before elections
And all through the town
Tempers were flaring
Emotions all up and down!
I, in my bathrobe
With a cat in my lap
Had cut off the TV
Tired of political crap.
When all of a sudden
There arose such a noise
I peered out of my window
Saw Obama and his boys
They had come for my wallet
They wanted my pay
To give to the others
Who had not worked a day!
He snatched up my money
And quick as a wink
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stink
He then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart
I could tell they were out
To tear my country apart!
' On Fannie, on Freddie,
On Biden and Ayers!
On Acorn, On Pelosi'
He screamed at the pairs!
They took off for his cause
And as he flew out of sight
I heard him laugh at the nation
Who wouldn't stand up and fight!
So I leave you to think
On this one final note-
IF YOU DONT WANT SOCIALISM
GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!

Ha Ha Ha! I received this in my email earlier today from some life long Michigan Democrats. And I will tell you it is not the first thing my Democrat friends have sent me that is anti-Obama. It is what gives me hope in this election. When pro-union, life long straight ticket Democrats have been sending me anti-Obama messages (not necessarily pro-McCain), you know there is breaks in the ranks of the Democrats.

With voters behind him, so lively and smart,
McCain knew in a moment it must be Barak.
More rapid than eagles Palin pulled him down,
McCain lost the race as he got out of town!
So dash away, dash away, dash away all.

jarasan, that was spectacular. You know, I have voted for years, but I never really was too concerned about what would happen if one candidate or the other won, re: biz as usual. Well, I really am afraid of where this country will go if Barry boy wins. We will get change alright, socialist change. Those that vote for him.....be careful what you wish for, you will get it.
