WOW! Those are absolutely beautiful!! Are these from your garden? I was just in the garden center today looking at both of these plants. I was trying to decide which one I wanted, until I found out that the blooms only last for 30 days.

The garden center is correct they last just about a month, then the blooms fall off, and they are green the rest of the time. These are in my garden. They should be pruned once the flowers are off so the following year they have more flowers. These pics are from ones that I pruned last year. This year I will try and prune them all, yeah right. If I get to the ones along a back fence (which weren't done last year) I will be doing good. The best thing about these plants is, if cared for they last forever, I had to remove one last week, it got suffocated by an errant planting of a peach tree, I am sure this thing was at least 25 years old! lol jarasan
