The increased revenue was never for deficit reduction in the first place.
It's just a cover for more spending.

Agree with Ridge. Obama never planned to use increased revenue to pay down debt or pay for current spending. His brag about reducing spending by $1 trillion is also deceiving. He only reduced the INCREASE in spending by $1 trillion, not that spending did not increase, mind you, it just increased by $1 trillion less than planned.

As to the deal - Republicans have been suckered again.
